I guess he could have died before?
I thought it specifically said that he died afterwards though?

I don’t get that. If we are still waiting for Christ return four thousand years from now then our current time wouldn’t be regarded as the last days.If the calendars are right, the church is now 1,987 years old. The church began on the day of Pentecost, which was some 33 years after the birth of Christ. So, we deduct 33 years from 2020, which gives us the number of 1,987 as it regards the age of the modern church. In other words, we are living in the last days of the church age.
We traded ,and open up diplomacy with China since Nixon
China is a huge trade market for us. Approximately 2.6 million US jobs are directly or indirectly supported by trade with China alone. If we stop trading with every dictatorship and communist country in the world, our economy would likely collapse.
until the late 90s it wasn't as much. we had stuff from viet nam and Taiwan and so forth but not a large scale until the late 90s.Oh so America has been importing Chinese goods since the early 70's???
If that's the case then maybe USA is too deep in it now
Everyone would be used to China owning most of industry
That's why I see Trump trying to make America great again cos he is old enough to remember what that was while most Americans are just used to it now
Im not sure when Australia started trading with China but there was hardly no Chinese imports here in the 80's and 90's. 20 years ago manufacturing had over 25% of the nations GDP, now it's less than 6%. I've seen the whole manufacturing sector all but disappear in my lifetime and experienced the negative effects of that.
So what I've experienced here seems to be very different to America.
I guess few people in America would get into trades anymore but here the kids are still getting fooled into entering trades in industries that are dead leaving so many people with skills that aren't in demand.
For Australia the government has short changed a lot of people and left them in the mud in the space of a generation. And they act like nothing happened
Fair enough i didn't know that the states had been with China for so long.
It seems dependent on them now so u right in saying there isn't much that could be done now probs.
It's a real shame but that's for sure. America lead the industrial era with inventions and innovations that shaped the world. Anything that was made in the USA had such a fine reputation, just like German and Japanese products still do today.
Detroit and Boeing are some of the biggest examples of the collapse of American industry

We could take advantage of untapped manufacturing/consumer markets right in our own backyard. South America and Cuba hold plenty of promise. We could also stem illegal immigration by creating prosperity south of the border. We would also negate Chinese encroachment by investing heavily in South America/Cuba. China would become less relevant and less wealthy. This would boost national security instead of selling it out for a buck.First problem is.....define cheap.
Second problem, what prevents foreign countries from responding in kind. Many of our industries are dependent on foreign markets. The imposed tariffs by president Trump were designed to level the playing field but as we saw, the foreign countries replied by imposing their own and shutting down orders.
Would you also then support a cap on earnings? Be careful how you answer that.

Israel is God’s prophetic time clock. Looking at this tiny nation, we know that the “fig tree is putting forth leaves and that summer is nigh (which began in 1947-48).” Then Jesus said, “So likewise, when you shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors” (Mat. 24:32-33).What makes you say we are living the last days of the church age?
I don't believe the bible gives accurate dating on the end of the church age

Others say the countdown didn't begin until Jerusalem was captured in 1967 and I'm sure there are other countdown triggers that some say are the the authentic ones.I wonder about Israel today. I know a lot of people who believe a countdown of about 70 years began with the establishment of Israel in 1948.
I don’t know that God hit the timer at that time.
Israel is about as secular a country as any other. Like many of the folks Jesus talked to, they put a lot of store in being genetic descendants of Abraham. Jesus wasn’t impressed.

It’s from Daniel and a prophecy of seventy weeks. If I get a chance I will find a link. Or someone else may.Ok i've never heard of these countdowns.
What are they based on?
Surely there is more evidence than the fig tree verse that was given earlier
The doctor couldn’t say anything after dying. I intended a joke. A lot of caregivers have died. There is no mystery about the poor man in Wuhan.Umm,.. you never answered my question though. :/

every 2,000 years or every 1000 years something tremendous has taken place
