    Strengthening families through biblical principles.

Focus on the Family addresses the use of biblical principles in parenting and marriage to strengthen the family.

Christ applies redemption as well!

Declared to God given Faith ! 4

Now God given Faith, given in the New Birth, for Faith that Pleases God is not found in the natural man, to it is revealed their declared Justification by the Gospel sent to them Rom 1:16-17

16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

17 For therein is the righteousness of God[Our Justification] revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.

The word Righteousness and the Word Just are basically the same word in the original both derived from the word dikaios:

righteous, observing divine laws

a) in a wide sense, upright, righteous, virtuous, keeping the commands of God

1) of those who seem to themselves to be righteous, who pride themselves to be righteous, who pride themselves in their virtues, whether real or imagined

2) innocent, faultless, guiltless

3) used of him whose way of thinking, feeling, and acting is wholly conformed to the will of God, and who therefore needs no rectification in the heart or life

a) only Christ truly

4) approved of or acceptable of God

b) in a narrower sense, rendering to each his due and that in a judicial sense, passing just judgment on others, whether expressed in words or shown by the manner of dealing with them

The Knowledge of their Righteousness / Justification before God is revealed to them by the Gospel, and that this was an Matter of fact outside of themselves, and hence they now believe the Truth of it which is the Gospel of their Salvation Eph 1:13. The Gospel in the matter of Salvation is not sent to people to put them in a position to perform a duty or an act to get saved, but its to reveal or make known the Good News of what Christ has accomplished and Established on ones behalf; Because Christ was delivered up unto Death and Divine Justice in their stead and for their transgressions, and when the Law released Him, it was a notification of their discharge; and the Spirit enlightens all those Christ died for of their Justification by Christ's Righteousness charged to them, and so it comes to past that the Just shall live by Faith. The Spirit takes of Christ's [ What He accomplished via His Death / Blood for them]and shows it to them or reveals it to them in or by the Gospel; and it is then God given Faith receives, embraces, appropriates this REVELATION as their Justification and Righteousness before God, and now before their own purged conscience. Heb 9:14

14 How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

The fruit of Christ's Death !

John 12:24

Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.

This scripture condemns all who reject the Truth that Christ's Death, His dying, saved all for whom He died, in and of itself. This verse tells us if that Corn of Wheat dies , which means Christ, it brings forth much fruit.

Now what is the much fruit ? The fruit is Justification before God. Rom 5:19

19 For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.

To be made Righteous is Justification before God, which is the fruit of Christ's Death or dying for the many He died for.

The fruit is Redemption Heb 9:15

And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.

The word redemption here is the greek word apolytrōsis and means:

a releasing effected by payment of ransom

a) redemption, deliverance

b) liberation procured by the payment of a ransom

The fruit His Death is liberation, deliverance, a releasing. Those He died for are released from all penalty of sin, and they are liberated from being a servant of sin, Christ sets them free. Jn 8:32-36

32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

33 They answered him, We be Abraham's seed, and were never in bondage to any man: how sayest thou, Ye shall be made free?

34 Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin.

35 And the servant abideth not in the house for ever: but the Son abideth ever.

36 If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.

The word free is the greek word eleutheroō :

to make free

2) set at liberty: from the dominion of sin

The fruit of Christ dying is that those He died for are set free from the dominion of sin.

The fruit of Christ's Death is the New Birth or being born again 1 Pet 1:3

3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,

This being begotten again is New Birth or Born Again. Begotten again. Its the greek word anagennaō:

to produce again, be born again, born anew

2) metaph. to have one's mind changed so that he lives a new life and one conformed to the will of God

This means that the fruit of Christ's Death produces a New Life [Spiritual] New Birth in order that those Christ died for can now Live unto God according to His Will and Purpose.

The fruit of Christ's Death is that it gives conversion. It gives a Change of Mind, which is Repentance.

The word for Repentance is metanoia d means :

a change of mind, as it appears to one who repents, of a purpose he has formed or of something he has done

Now what does anagennaō mean above for begotten again ?

metaph. to have one's mind changed so that he lives a new life and one conformed to the will of God266

So Repentance is a Fruit of Christ dying Jn 12:24

24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.

To deny this is to deny Christ, deny His Death, Deny His Cross, it deny's the Saving Fruit of His Death its simply against Christ !

Christ's Death effects the births of many brethern!

Rom 8:29

29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.

To this end Christ did die and rise again, that He should be the Firstborn of many brethren Rom 8:29-30

29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.

30 Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.

Remember Jesus was speaking of His Death here Jn 12:24

Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.

Well that much fruit brought forth are the many brethren He is he firstborn of .

The word born in firstborn Rom 8:29 its the word tiktō and means:

to bring forth, bear, produce (fruit from the seed)

Now see how that complements Jn 12:24 and this is effected y His Death, being that Corn of wheat that falls into the Ground and die. This is referring to His Death.

It is those also Peter writes that they have been begotten again by the Resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead 1 Pet 1:3

3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,

This is the Fruit as a result of the Corn of Wheat falling to the ground and dying.267

It made them Righteous or Justified !

Many today in false religion do deny that Christ's Death alone, in and of itself, for those He died in behalf of, that it constituted them Righteous or Justified. However that is exactly what Rom 5:19 teaches Rom 5:19

19 For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.

The One here in the second section is Jesus Christ, and the obedience is His Death as Per Phil 2:8

8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

His Obedience is His Death of the Cross. Now pay attention to its sure effects, it made many Righteous, which is to be Justified. The word Justified in scripture : The greek word dikaioo:

to render righteous or such he ought to be

2) to show, exhibit, evince, one to be righteous, such as he is and wishes himself to be considered

So His Death, His Obedience will show many to be made Righteous.

The word made in Rom 5:19 is the word kathistēmi:

to set, place, put

a) to set one over a thing (in charge of it)

b) to appoint one to administer an office

c) to set down as, constitute, to declare, show to be

d) to constitute, to render, make, cause to be

e) to conduct or bring to a certain place

f) to show or exhibit one's self

1) come forward as

So, this is an accomplishment of the Death of Chris alone, for the Many He died for, all of them.

To deny this effect and result of the Sole Death of Christ is denying Christ, its against Christ !

Everyone Christ died for is declared Righteous, which also means they have Christ's Righteousness Imputed to them.

All for whom He died have His Complete Obedience as The Son of God in the flesh charged to their account, just as their sins and demerit were charged to His Account.

It saves from the power of sin.

One of the accomplishments of the Death of Christ for all whom He died, is that He saves them from the power of sin. To be saved from the power of sin is to be also saved from unbelief, yes unbelief in one is because the power of sin is reigning in them. They are while in unbelief under the power of darkness Col 1:13

Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:

Or from the domain or authority of darkness. As such are minds are blinded from believing the Gospel 2 Cor 4:3-4

3 But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:

4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

That word for blindness actually means to darken the mind, which is part of the power of darkness. Before we can believe we must be delivered from this power and Christ's Death accomplishes that, Redemption.269

Saved from God's Wrath !

1 Jn 2:2

2 And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.

The whole world [jew and gentile people] here is a propitiated world, and as such, they have been saved from God's Wrath through Christ's Blood Rom 5:9

9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.

Rom 3:25

25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;

All who Christ's Blood propitiated God's wrath for or in behalf of, are given Faith in His Blood.

His Blood has saved them from wrath. It has delivered them from going down into the pit Zech 9:11

As for thee also, by the blood of thy covenant I have sent forth thy prisoners out of the pit wherein is no water.

Christ's Healing Stripes !

1 Peter 2:24

24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.

Christ's Healing stripes results in those He died for, those whose sins He bear in His own Body on the tree, results in them living unto righteousness, which is to live by Faith.

Turns us into a Kingdom or Priests.

Christ's death alone is seen to effect and to save experimentally all for whom He Loved and died for here Rev 1:5-6

5 And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,

6 And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

Now it is stated that through or by His Love and Blood [Death] that those he died for are experimentally made Kings and Priests. Notice the same Blessed Truth here Rev 5:9-10

9 And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;

10 And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.

By His Blood or Death they were made Kings and Priests.

Now some translate it Rev 1:6

6 and he made us to be a kingdom, to be priests unto his God and Father; to him be the glory and the dominion for ever and ever. Amen.ASV

6 And formed us into a kingdom (a royal race), priests to His God and Father—to Him be the glory and the power and the majesty and the dominion throughout the ages and forever and ever. Amen (so be it).AMP

Which is why Peter says this 1 Peter 2:9

9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light;

Nevertheless, this status was said to be effected solely by the Blood of Christ.

They were made said Vs 6

and hath made us kings and priests unto God and His Father, to Him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

This word made both here and in Rev 5:10 is the greek word poieō:

1) to make

a) with the names of things made, to produce, construct, form, fashion, etc.

b) to be the authors of, the cause

c) to make ready, to prepare

d) to produce, bear, shoot forth

e) to acquire, to provide a thing for one's self

f) to make a thing out of something

g) to (make i.e.) render one anything

1) to (make i.e.) constitute or appoint one anything, to appoint or ordain one that

2) to (make i.e.) declare one anything

h) to put one forth, to lead him out

i) to make one do something

1) cause one to

j) to be the authors of a thing (to cause, bring about)

2) to do

a) to act rightly, do well

1) to carry out, to execute

b) to do a thing unto one

1) to do to one

c) with designation of time: to pass, spend

d) to celebrate, keep

1) to make ready, and so at the same time to institute, the celebration of the passover

e) to perform: to a promise

His Blood therefore made them to be Priests unto God or caused them to be.

What this means is that His Blood or Death produces them to live a devoted, consecrated life of Christian Service to God, as it was typed out by the OT Priests did in Israel.

We can say again, that as a result of His Redemptive Death, those He died for were caused to become a Kingdom of Priests, and to reign with Him in this Life spiritually Rom 5:17

17 For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ )

This had nothing to do with they did themselves, to say so is detracting from the Work of Christ's Blood, against the scripture witness of His Saving Death. Those He Loved and died for shall be made a Priest unto God, period !

Christ's Healing Stripes ! 2

1 Pet 2:24-25

24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.

25 For ye were as sheep going astray; but are now returned unto the Shepherd and Bishop of your souls.

Christ's stripes heals all those for whom He died, who took stripes in behalf of, with the healing results being their returning back to God, meaning their actual conversion to God in Faith and Repentance.

That's what Vs 25 tells us to be the effects of having Christ die for us. His stripes are responsible for our return to God. The word returned is the greek word verb epistrephó and means:

I turn (back) to (towards), (b) intrans: I turn (back) (to [towards]); I come to myself.

Its like the idea of the prodigal son when it reads of him Lk 15:17-18

17 And when he came to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my father's have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger!

18 I will arise and go[returning] to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee,

Also the word is used in the aroist indicative passive, which means e subject [person] is being returned or turned . Remember Jer 31:18

I have surely heard Ephraim bemoaning himself thus; Thou hast chastised me, and I was chastised, as a bullock unaccustomed to the yoke: turn thou me, and I shall be turned; for thou art the Lord my God.

That word turn and turned here is the Hebrew word shuwb and means:

to return, turn back

a) (Qal)

1) to turn back, return

a) to turn back

b) to return, come or go back

c) to return unto, go back, come back

d) of dying

e) of human relations (fig)

f) of spiritual relations (fig)

1) to turn back (from God), apostatise

2) to turn away (of God)

3) to turn back (to God), repent

4) turn back (from evil)

And that is what Christ's stripes/death effects for all whom He bare stripes in behalf of. It grants them conversion repentance to God. Each one of them during their life time will do as the prodigal did Lk 15:17-19

17 And when he came to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my father's have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger!

18 I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee,

19 And am no more worthy to be called thy son: make me as one of thy hired servants.

You see the prodigal son had an application of healing upon him. This parable was to teach God's People the Love of the Father in bringing His gone astray children back to Himself by the Work of Christ on the Cross. The prodigal did not heal himself, neither do those Christ died for, they were healed by His Stripes, which is His Death.

1 Jn 4:9 That we might live through him.

1 Jn 4:9-10

9 In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.

10 Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.

Christ's Coming as having been sent by God the Father, it had purpose behind it, and that was that those who are believing might Live. In fact believing is living, and believing was the end to which He sent Christ to accomplish.

By His coming and putting away our sins, making full satisfaction for them to God's Law and Justice, we now are given the privilege [through New Birth] to live Spiritually unto God.

Christ's death for all whom He died ensures a deliverance for them from spiritual death, and the granting of Spiritual Life, to Live unto God. Paul taught the same thing here 2 Cor 5:14-15

14 For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead:

15 And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.

Simply put, if any never receive New Spiritual Life [which is Eternal Life] to live unto God, then Christ did not die for them., nor were they Loved of Him, nor the Father, nor the Spirit. For any to remain in Spiritual death, to remain dead in trespasses and sins without being quickened Eph 2:4-5, then its safe to say Christ did not die for that one.

His Death actually redeems to God !

Rev 5:9

9 And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain[Died], and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;

Yes, that was the result and effect of His being slain. Remember Peter said Acts 2:23

Him, being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, ye have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain:

Jesus said Lk 9:21-22

21 And he straitly charged them, and commanded them to tell no man that thing;

22 Saying, The Son of man must suffer many things, and be rejected of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be slain, and be raised the third day.

And so it is those He was slain in behalf of shall praise Him here Rev 5:9

9 And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;

10 And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.

This His redemptive death made them believers. How so ? By making them into a Kingdom of Priests unto God, for in order of that, we must be made believers. For our priesthood duties consist of 1 Pet 2:9

9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light;14

This we cannot do in unbelief dead in sin. So Christ's Redemptive death must do all to effect that and it did, hence why we read Rev 5:9-10 !

Accepted in the Beloved !

Christ's acceptance of God after finishing His Work here on Earth Jn 17:4

4 I have glorified Thee on the earth; I have finished the work which Thou gavest Me to do.

It was not that He was accepted as an private Person, but it was acceptation of all His Body the Church, or those given Him Vs2; For His acceptance was their being accepted along with Him, hence they were accepted or graced in the Beloved Eph 1:6

6 To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.

6 To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherewith he hath made us freely accepted in his beloved.GB

Christ was given a work to do as the Churches High Priest, having therefore to offer Himself as a Sacrifice, to make atonement or reconciliation for the people Heb 2:17

17 Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people. Note: Christ's death was not for all without exception, but for a particular people.

Which atonement or reconciliation put away their sins forever, and for them it did satisfy God's Wrath He had against their sins against His Law. Heb 9:26

For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.

His sacrifice of Himself put away sin. That word phrase "put away" is the greek athetēsis and means:

abolition, disannulling, put away, rejection, to do away with completely.

And after this He appears in the immediate presence of a pacified Holy God for them Heb 9:24

24 For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us:

24 For the Messiah has entered a Holiest Place which is not man-made and merely a copy of the true one, but into heaven itself, in order to appear now on our behalf in the very presence of God. That is in behalf of all for whom He died, The sins of the People Heb 2:17

Now this denotes not only His acceptance in the favorable Presence of God, but also those for whom He sacrificed Himself in Behalf of.He is there in God's Presences at His Right Hand making Intercession for them Rom 8:334

33 Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth.

34 Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us[God's Elect].

This Intercession for them is on the basis of His Blood, His Sacrifice, which does effect an Favorable Divine Intervention in each of their Lives and they come to God through Him Heb 7:25

25 Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them. The them of Rom 8:34, the Elect Vs 33 !

And by this, they are saved to the uttermost by His Life Rom 5:10b

10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.

Yes, His Resurrection is here included because it was the first indication, token, or sign that His Sacrifice was accepted in route to His appearing in God's presence for us. All for whom Christ died are accepted by the Father even before they believe, reconciled even while enemies, because its not based upon their belief but on Christ's Blood.

That's why even while enemies, unbelievers, they have been reconciled to God. That word reconciled means :

to change, exchange, as coins for others of equivalent value

a) to reconcile (those who are at variance)

b) return to favour with, be reconciled to one

c) to receive one into favour

The reason why the are received into Favor is because they are being represented in the very presence of God by Christ for them Heb 9:24

24 For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us:

So while we are enemies down here and unbelievers, we enjoy the gracious favor of God because of Christ in His Presences for us, if He died for you ! If He did, we are born as sinners into this world accepted in the Beloved, and shall be saved by His Life !14

Redeemed from the curse of the Law !

By the death of Christ alone, apart from believing, repenting, accepting a gift, calling on the Name of the Lord, or anything DONE by those Christ died for, but Solely by His Death, He hath redeemed them from the curse of the Law Gal 3:13

13 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:

There are no charges or consequences against them for all their violations of God's Law, they have a perfect clean slate , and God will not impute sin against them no matter what Rom 4:8

8 Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin.

Yes, this man God will not charge with sin ! Not that this man is not a sinner, ungodly, an enemies by nature, all that can be true, nevertheless, if Christ has died for them, God cannot and will not charge them with sin. That's Justification and Forgiveness by Grace ! Sin is the Transgression of the Law 1 Jn 3:4

4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.

Yet, those whom Christ died for, and by that death, redeemed them from the curse of the Law [ The strength of sin is the Law 1 Cor 15:56] Sin is not counted against them, they are Truly Blessed Rom 4:8.

Those Christ did not die for, are under the curse of the law, and shall remain until they hear these words Matt 25:41

41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:

They will follow Him or become believers !

John 12:32

32 And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.

This drawing all men to Himself is an promised Effect of Him being Lifted Up, which speaks of His Death.

Now this drawing means that they will follow Him as His Sheep.

The word draw is the greek word helkō and means:

to draw, drag off

2) metaph., to draw by inward power, lead, impel

Jesus is using the word in the metaph #2 sense. He will draw them by an inner power, the Spirit in them,He will be leading them or impelling them inwardly.

In fact, its the same as when He said Jn 10:3-4

3 To him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out.

4 And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice.

Those He was lifted Up for, He knows them, and eventually He calls them by their Name and Leadeth them !

That word leadeth is the word exago:

to lead out and to fetch out Acts 16:37

The word is actually Two words combined ek =out of, from, by, away from and agō = to lead, take with one

a) to lead by laying hold of, and this way to bring to the point of destination: of an animal

He fetches out or leads out from their Lost state and brings them to their destination.

But notice the word lead. That is what draw means as well in Jn 12:32.

But also Jesus said He putteth them forth Jn 10:4. Its the verb ekballō and means :

to cause a thing to move straight on its intended goal

to lead one forth or away somewhere with a force which he cannot resist

This is describing His Irresistible Call of His Own Sheep by Name Jn 10:3

After He does that, He goes before them as their Shepherd and Leader and they do follow Him ! Jn 10:4

And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice.

That word follow akoloutheō:

to follow one who precedes, join him as his attendant, accompany him

2) to join one as a disciple, become or be his disciple

a) side with his party

They become His disciples, His converts to His Teachings and ways, so Believers.

Lets look at one more passage Jn 10:16

16 And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.

Notice, other Sheep He must bring. That word bring agō:

to move, impel: of forces and influences on the mind. This again is same as drawing Jn 12:32 metaph., to draw by inward power, lead, impel

So the All Men of Jn 12:32 are all of His Sheep. In the original it just reads, will draw all unto me. The word men was added by the Translators, but its all His Sheep from out of the jewish fold and the gentile fold, so He means in Jn 10:16.

Now is this the Christ you believe in ? The Christ who says that if He be Lifted Up [speaking of His death for His Sheep Jn 10:15] that He will draw all of them to Himself, and they shall follow Him, Believe in Him, become His disciple, and be for Him and His Gospel cause. Not one of them shall be Lost, because He found them all !

Because of the Blood of Christ !

Heb 13:20-21

20 Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant,

21 Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is well pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

Its because of the Blood of Christ , that sealed and ratified the Eternal Compact of the Divine Counsel, hat those The Shepherd Surety died for [Obviously His Sheep] that they shall be made perfect in every good work, to do His Will, which worketh in them that which is well pleasing in His Sight, through Jesus Christ, that is His Blood accomplishment, for each of the Sheep He died for, those things must be applied to them based upon His Blood !

The benefits of Christ’s blood is available to the whole world, so that whoever believes might become His sheep.

And He Himself is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the whole world. 1 John 2:2

  • No one is saved apart from hearing and believing the Gospel.

Here is the biblical steps of salvation —

For “whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved.”
  • How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed?
  • And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard?
  • And how shall they hear without a preacher?
  • And how shall they preach unless they are sent?
As it is written:
“How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace,
Who bring glad tidings of good things!”
But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Isaiah says, “LORD, who has believed our report?” So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Romans 10:13-17

Makes us Spiritual Servants/Priests !

Rev 1:5-6

5 And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,

6 And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

One of the reasons why the scripture teaches that the death of Christ alone has efficacious Saving results is seen here in the above passage. and to Him is ascribed Glory and Dominion for it. By His Blood [Death] those He died in the stead of, were washed and freed from their sins, and made [converted] to a Kingdom of Priests to His God. That word made ποιέω:

I make, manufacture, construct, (b) I do, act, cause.

Hence by His Blood He made, constructed, manufactured, caused to be, those He washed, into a Kingdom of Spiritual Priests unto God !

The word manufacture means the making or producing of anything; generation as in Regeneration or Birth !

This must be ascribed to His Dominion.

Conversion to God His Father into a Royal and Spiritual Priesthood is to His Glory, its the effect of His Blood.

This is why Peter writes 1 Pet 2:24

24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.

Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree = The washing and loosing us from our sins in His Blood

should live unto righteousness= Made into Spiritual Priests for God

by whose stripes ye were healed.= The same as His Blood/ Death
So Rev 1:6 and 1 Pet 2:24 agree in the Saving Accomplishment of the Death of Christ alone, in and of itself !

All for whom Christ has died, they no more owe for sin the wages of death, for it is written Rom 6:23

23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Just as Justice owed them death through their sin in Adam, Christ paid that debt for them, now Justice owes them Life from the dead, not because of anything they did or did not do, but strictly through the Lord Jesus Christ, what He did for them.

You see, all for whom He died, all of their sins against God's law, past and present and future, the Penalty of Death, even Eternal Death, has already been endured and paid in full unto the uttermost farthing.

God has been satisfied in His Justice regard to them; But now in light of this Justice Satisfied, Both God and His Law and Grace demand the bestowal of Eternal Life, or to be made alive from death ! Eph 2:1,5

5 Even when we were dead in sins[Because of the wages of sin Rom 6:23], hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved )

This word quickened is the greek word syzōopoieō which means:

to make one alive together

a) of Christians, with Christ

Its made of the word zōopoieō which means:

to produce alive, begat or bear living young

2) to cause to live, make alive, give life

And that is God's Justice answering to what Christ has done for them in taking away their sins which sins is what merited their death in sin in the first place. Now that that issue has been resolved [Christ died for their sins, which sins brought about their spiritual death] Justice demands that they be made alive, just as much as it did demand their death for sin !

Lets remember, that all that perfect obedience Christ rendered to God's Law as it should be, He rendered it not for Himself, but for all those He died for, and as a Free Gift, that perfect obedience is imputed to their account, and that Righteousness of His, charged to them, demands Life, for with Righteousness is Life Prov 12:28

In the way of righteousness is life: and in the pathway thereof there is no death.

John Gill writes on this verse:

In the way of righteousness is life,.... The life of the soul, or spiritual life, as Aben Ezra; and eternal life, as Gersom. One that is in the true way of righteousness is one that is instilled by the righteousness of Christ, which justification is the justification of life: such an one is made alive, and reckons himself alive in a law sense; and enjoys true spiritual peace and comfort, arising from the love and favour of God, and acceptance with him, in which he sees his interest, and in which is life; and this righteousness, by which he is justified before God, entitles him to eternal life; to which the path of holiness, he is directed and enabled to walk in, leads; though it is a narrow way, and a strait gate, Matthew 7:14. Christ, and righteousness and holiness in and by him, are the way, the truth, and the life, or the true way to eternal life; and all in this way now live spiritually, and shall live eternally, John 14:6;

and in the pathway thereof there is no death; no condemnation to them that are in Christ, the way, and are justified by his righteousness; the law's sentence of death shall not be executed on them, though it passed upon them in Adam; spiritual death shall not again prevail over those who are passed from death to life; nor shall they be hurt at the second death; they shall never die that death, it shall have no power over them; life and immortality are the sure effects of being in the way of righteousness. The Targum renders it, "the way of the perverse": and the Septuagint version, "of those that remember evil": and the Syriac and Arabic versions, "the way of angry men is unto death": and so the Vulgate Latin version,

"the out of the way path leads to death:'

and so some Hebrew copies read, instead of "no death, unto death"; but the most read as we do, and which the Jewish commentators follow.

So those Christ died for are credited with Two Blessings because of Him or through Him: Full and Perfect Obedience to God's Law [Righteousness] and full satisfaction paid for every last one of their sins they did commit against God's Law, in their head Adam Rom 5:12 and in their own Persons, So Justice and Truth and Grace demands that they Live, be made alive, and that everlastingly. For through Christ they have done what the Rich Young ruler was not able to do to enter into Life Matt 19:16-17

16 And, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?

17 And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.15
