No doubt about it, Christ came to save sinners, to give them life,
1 Tim 1:15
15 This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.
This entails giving them sinners He came to save, giving them life and that more in abundance Jn 10:10-11
10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
11 I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.
He gives them Life Jn 6:33
33 For the bread of God is he which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world.
He gives Life unto the world He lays down His own life for.
He gives them Eternal life and Spiritual life,
They need Spiritual life because without it, they are dead Spiritually,
Naturally, men are dead in trespasses and sins, and, therefore, in order to them acting in a holy and spiritual manner, a living holy principle of life must be communicated to them. Hence the saints are said to be quickened, that is to say, they are gifted with life,
Jesus says Jn 5:21
For as the Father raiseth up the dead, and quickeneth them; even so the Son quickeneth whom he will.
That word quickeneth is zōopoieō:
1 Jn 4:9
In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.
