Is it true, you think, that some "Christians" are more judgmental than the rest of the world? Or, at least as judgmental, but they hide behind select Bible verses?

Christians should not be judgmental. We should be humble. We should not appear to be better than others in this world. We know that we are the Saints. But we should not come off all puffed up about it.That would definately bring the wrong message. We are sinners just like the rest of the world. We just happened to be saved. Is it true, you think, that some "Christians" are more judgmental than the rest of the world? Completely agree that this is how we should be, but my experience with Christians is that the reality is Christians have a remarkable propensity to fight, argue, and judge that is at least equal to, and most times greater than that of the rest of the world. Sad but true among way to many that I've been around.Christians should not be judgmental. We should be humble. We should not appear to be better than others in this world. We know that we are the Saints. But we should not come off all puffed up about it.That would definately bring the wrong message. We are sinners just like the rest of the world. We just happened to be saved.
Many unbelievers are turned off by Christians because they think they are hypocrites. That might be true.Completely agree that this is how we should be, but my experience with Christians is that the reality is Christians have a remarkable propensity to fight, argue, and judge that is at least equal to, and most times greater than that of the rest of the world. Sdaly I agree with you. Lucky for me I'm part of a rather liberal church so there ain't too much judgement. But in general I keep seeing judgement, often hidden behind pious verses or condescending fake compassion.Completely agree that this is how we should be, but my experience with Christians is that the reality is Christians have a remarkable propensity to fight, argue, and judge that is at least equal to, and most times greater than that of the rest of the world.
