Clash of the titans

Saw it a couple of weeks ago. Would give it a generous 5/10. Movie was originially shot in 2D, then made 3D but the characters remained 1D. Was OK for action, but that was the best. IMO I'm not heaps interested in all that ancient Gods mythology stuff with Zeus etc, so I guess I didn't find it too interesting plot-wise. But it was fun seeing a movie with a group of friends, so some sacrifices have to be made.

Wasn't terrible, but wasn't too great either.

Id agree with Nick, 5/10 from me too. The effects/creatures were well done in places, but I came away with the feeling that I was glad it wasnt any longer than it was lol. (I also saw the 2d version, so cant comment on 3d, but what nick said confirmed what I had heard).

Went to see it, not bad. But I found it interesting in the end when Hades (Satan) was cast out back to the netherworld. It reminded me of Michael taking out the evil from Rev 12.

again, this is another movie i just wont be seeing because i love the orginal too much. from the trailer i knew i wasnt gonna like it. the meathead from Terminator salvation playing persius with that horrible buzz cut hair. awful! i prefer harry hamlin with his flowing locks, he looked more how i envision persius, young and kinda a pretty boy but certainly had a royalty to him. and he had more of an innocence as well. and i love the old style special effects, the medusa was incredible in the original. the new one just looks dumb to me. and i love bergus meredith.

I liked it. I found the old one a bit too silly to take seriously, although if you'd seen it a long time ago it probably would have been fun.
I thought sam worthington as perseus was the best thing in it, he certainly had the passion. but yeah, it was all a bit too hollywood, heroish for me to really love it.
everything moved too quickly at the expense of reality and the fights were just too out there.
I thought medusa was excellent though.

I only recommend anyone watch any movie if they can clear it with the holy spirit, but if they'd been able to combine the effects and idea with the original soul in the star wars movies I think they would have had an amazing hit.

I'm not into mythology but monsters and heros are fun.

My friend, who is the film critic for our student newspaper, said that it was lousy, so I did not go see it as planned.
