Welcome to our Christian fellowship in Jesus' name. There are many suggested plans available online for reading through the Bible in different amounts of time, thoough I've never continued.
My personal thoughts on this has to do with 1 Cor 11:1. Be ye followers of me (Paul), even as I also am of Christ.

Now you might wonder at that, but he was given revelations for the Church not given to any others.
Col 1:25 Whereof I am made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for you, to fulfil the word of God;
Col 1:26 Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints:

Dear Brother BlessedinMO, I have no idea yet as to your choice of assemblies within the Church, but to me the very first necessity important to our growth in knowing our place in Christ, and I wrote the following pamphlet to ensure that very security we have in Him as God's child.
Salvation with Security – 1, 2, 3

When we realize the total love God has for us that gave Jesus to die for us, we can grow in grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus (2 Pet 3:18), and progress toward having God's best as we mature spiritually through three different wills of God as we read in Rom 12:2. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
Blessings in Christ Jesus. :wave2

:wave2 Welcome and may the blessings of God empower you as you draw closer to Him.
I started out by reading John as this taught me who Jesus was/is and then I moved to Acts to understand the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. From there on I was all over the place comparing scripture with scripture, OT to NT. Just go where your heart leads you. It's not so much that we read the whole Bible, which is a good thing, but to understand that which we are reading and the Holy Spirit will teach you all things, John 14:26.
