True. Entertainment is king in this culture. You bring up a good point, and something that should be considered. Although if you are saying that this means we should avoid Christian music and bands, I can't agree with you there. This is coming from someone who used to be against Christian rock.That's a concern with anything, really. Anything can become more important than God to us, anything can become an idol.
Yes it is a concern with anything but anyone today can see the almost total power and influence of Music,musicians and bands in people's lives and philosophies of life.I am almost certain we will never see threads titled closet Christian CEO'S,Dentist and Librarians because nobody cares.....music has far outdistanced most other forms of influence in people's lives,especially young people.

No i'm not saying that one should avoid those bands and artist,i don't listen to them because they serve no purpose in my life and the Music itself,minus the lyrics, doesn't do anything for me or move me in any way but have no problems with what they do for others.
