From the sounds of this reply, I really don't think you're understanding of government and apparently those who you think 'hand their life and over to big government'.
You probably have moved all over the world in your life time and had children in 15 different countries. However, for the rest of us, we're pretty much citizens of the place/nation in which we were born. Yes, some people jet set all over the world and might consider themselves 'world' citizens, but 80% of the population of the earth rarely moves more than 50-100 miles from the place where they were born.
Further, for those that do choose to move from country to country because of strife or turmoil in their homeland, they've been moving for centuries. Population migration is not some new element that has just popped its evil head up in the last 30 years.
So, I say all that to say that this idea that you have that a society 'willingly' hands over their freedoms to a government isn't really some choice that the whole group of that society made. 80% of them are people who were born where they live and really don't have much choice to get to someplace else to escape such governing.
I'm not an American because I choose to be an American. I'm an American because my father had sexual relations with my mother in West Virginia and so I was born there. It wasn't some choice that I made just as it isn't some choice that any other baby makes. Then we grow up and live under the system that we grew up being used to. For the majority of the population it's just that simple. Some several million, out of the billions and billions of people on the earth, will pick up and move if they feel threatened, but a much larger group of any society will generally stay where they are because that's where they've invested their lives and despite hardships, they aren't willing to move to an entirely new culture. They've learned to assimilate and accept and work around any difficulties that come through their governance. But be assured, for the majority of the population, there never was a 'choice' about what kind of government they happen to live under.
So honestly, I don't think you really have a good grasp of the truth of the issues concerning migration of populations.

Right! When people are hungry they'll do about anything to eat. According to the Scriptures, God told the Israelites when they were to come under siege, they would eat their own children. We have some historical records that they did.
But that's ok about the donkeys. God will make more if only 2 are left. Which records show there are still plenty. And the meat of any animal, according to both Jesus and Noah, is food for us.
It certainly is sad that we see all of the people who suffer under certain forms of government, but unfortunately, those governments weren't set up to give the people a voice, but rather gives all the power of the government to just a few people within the group. However, don't be so naive as to go around saying that it's some choice that a population of people make. I've seen many of the riots over the last few decades of the people in Venezuela. But they don't have any formal way of having representation that truly represent what the people want or need.
Listen, read the Scriptures. People have been living under, what we would call corrupt governments, since nearly the beginning of societal governance, Especially when it comes to the ways of God. In Babylon the 'government' used the precious goblets of the Jewish temple as general drinking glasses. Which apparently is such a grievious matter that Daniel found reason to mention it in the Scriptures.
Do you think that Jews wanted to be under Roman rule in Jerusalem? The city of their God! No? But it was their choice and they could have changed it...right? According to some historians, a very, very large part of Israel expected Jesus to get them out from under Roman rule. Huh? Seems they didn't want to be ruled by Rome, but according to you it's a willing choice that they made and so their suffering is their own fault. Right?
If you're going to go knocking about other people and nations for what you think you believe to know about their situation, I'd recommend a deeper dive into the issues and causes than just, "People are stupid. They have the choice of whatever government system they live under."

The most common form of Communism is Marxist Leninism. Marx did not give a transition period for poor countries so Lenin laid out a foundation. The main issue with Lenin's methods is that a party holds government power and the leader of the party runs the military and policy.
MLs also are in constant fight with "counter Revolutionaries" so there are no other parties in that style of government. That is what led to the authoritarian and corrupt USSR Government.
Socialism us an umbrella term where the ecconomy .over from capital to social welfare. The ecconomy is based more on public good rather than holding capital.
The whole Jew thing is just Elders of Zion/Illuminaughty/NWO/Deep State nonsense.

Why do Jews always get mentioned. Lol. Can the Jews just have a break from being picked on for once in the history of mankind.
Maybe a group of jews or some jews are involved I this or that, but when someone says "the Jews" it's kind of labeling an entire race/ethnicity when a lot of jews have nothing to do with anything crooked.
It's like saying the Christians or the Muslims and its like not even, im nothing to do with it, don't label me.

Division and problems are caused by generalization. People should be careful to label correctly as not to put everyone who identifies by something in the same box, especially if it's something crooked.

Those who go to church and get duped, they not being iudged, they give in good faith and Pasters crooked and buy new multi million dollar holiday home, that's on there conscience. It's not a tribe thing, it's a nation thing. For a very long time Israel was split into 'Israel' and 'Judah'. Judah was the southern half or so of Israel and anyone from there was referred to as a Yehudi, or as we translate that, 'Jew'. The people living in the area of Judah were by no means all from the tribe of that name. Today, however, the term is properly used to refer to anyone who is believed to be descended from Abraham, or practices the Jewish faith.
