I'm counting my blessings, finally, and I'm developing a work ethic. I'm "too blessed to be depressed," despite all the bullying and harassment I have to contend with on a fairly regular basis. I'm going to Liberty Online (they were kind enough to accept me AND give me credit for about 70 credit hours AND hook me up with some amazing financial aid) and doing well. My parents love me and support me, despite everything. I receive disability for this season in my life, so my dependence on my parents has been reduced and I get extremely low priced (for me...) medications to control the worst of my mental problems. In addition, I'm physically healthy and I seem to be intelligent enough to write well, remember course materials, and most importantly, comprehend and engage in the world around me. God is good!
And I'm finally developing a work ethic. A bit of (self) discipline. More confidence, rooted in God's work in my life and what I am accomplishing because of that, and also in my value as a son of The Most High God. I'm definitely a work in progress...I often feel like I'm just now Born Again, lol....but God has done, I pray is doing, and I pray will continue to do a mighty work in my life. Who knows...maybe one day, I'll be able to facilitate His work in the lives of others. Here's hoping...
Anyway...the neighbors keep talking about warrants and such. This has been going on for a while, lol. The (excellent) attorney my dad hired in another part of the state hasn't said a word, neither has my probation officer (1st offense misdemeanor), and I've been her probationer for a bit over 1 year. Ugh. Its frustrating, no doubt, but...
...chin up, shoulders back: Jesus loves me!
