corrie ten boom , author of "the hiding place" and "in my father's house" and "common sense not needed" and several other books on the love of the father in heaven and yeshua's faithfulness to those little children who trust him,
learned to love her enemies (including the nazi and gestapo gurads who executed her family)
and to forgive them even when she admitted that she 'couldn't' and didn't 'feel' like it.

her testimony has been published, televised, and seen in person by millions of people in 63 or more countries. (she traveled to 63 or more , was probably seen by people in other countries on some broadcasts).

her televised testimonies were never for money, and she never asked for money, not for bills, not for plane tickets, not for clothes or food or anything. her testimony was simply that God told her inprayer to never ask for help with her expenses, because He would supply all of her need, according to Scripture (as it is written), and she trusted Him.

while she was still in prison, she had the joy of the Lord , and she shared the joy and love and the truth of Scripture with the other women prisoners around her, and with the brutal guards who beat them whenever they felt like it or when ordered to. she did not hold a grudge against them after God dealt with her emotions and her spirit and her faith and (even more) showed HIS LOVE in and through the crucifixion and suffering of the messiah for her and for others.

her experiential knowledge of Scripture and God's Life exceeded that of any female public figure in the last hundred years as far as i know (there's no one else even close, apparently).
and she humbly and beautifully expressed
God's Will of Joy and Healing and Truth and Freedom even to people who could not understand her speaking (story of a prisoner who knew no english, asked why he listened attentively to corrie ten boom for over an hour --- he said something like he listened because he could see/feel/hear the love of God from her)

she gave her life to Yeshua when she was five years old, and never stopped serving Him.

I am considering reading that book follower. I have been reading biographies of Christian missionaries lately.

it may seem like 'slow' reading at times, but i loved reading almost any part of her books - her life and books were so full of the interaction, intervention, the very LIFE of GOD - YHVH the One True God by the Grace shown us in Yeshua the Messiah.
it's possible , i think, that there hasn't been ( in the public eye) another woman so faithful since the women of the Bible Days. (women in the Bible noted for their faith in the Creator Yhvh), resulting in seeing God's Purpose in real life and giving glory unto Him (not exalting a person, but all the credit and praise and glory to God).

I had to read it for school in 10th grade, as part of my study of WW II. Ended up reading it twice. Far more interesting than any text book.

I watched the movie Hiding Place many years ago and just fell in love with this women. She truly was a great woman of faith, especially in the face of tribulation she certainly found favor in God that gave her the victory.
