Cursing the Fig Tree, and...

The same thought went through my mind. Also, he didn't get mad because it had no figs and He was hungry (some have told me that, lol), something deeper was going on.
 
And sometimes it's best to recommend. Consider his works (in their entirety) recommended. He's that good.

It is imperative that a Believers Faith is in God's redemption plan and the New Covenant (The Law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus - Romans 8:2). This is the God kind of Faith. If a Believer doesn't live this way, they become curse at the root like the "Fig Tree." There will be no life! You will be like Israel is to this day...cursed. When a Believer neglects Christ and the Cross, i.e., The Blood of Jesus, i.e., The Finished Work of Lord Jesus Christ, they are cursed.

Jesus was telling His disciples don't be like Israel (This includes us today. Do not be like the world).
