Revelation 4:6 - Before the throne there was, as it were, a sea of glass like crystal.

THE GLASS SEA IS A SYMBOL: THERE ARE NO RIPPLES, NO WAVES, NO ANXIETIES TROUBLING GOD. THE LORD IS NEVER WORRIED, NEVER IN A HURRY NOR WITHOUT AN ANSWER. THE SEA AROUND HIM IS PERFECTLY STILL AND TOTALLY CALM. ALL OUR VICTORIES FLOW OUT FROM BEING SEATED HERE WITH HIM.

THE BIBLE IS A BOOK OF REVERSALS. OLD THINGS BECOME NEW, THE DEAD COME TO LIFE, THE LOST ARE FOUND. EVEN THOSE WHO WERE THE VILEST OF SINNERS ARE NOW EMPOWERED BY GRACE TO BECOME THE VIRGIN BRIDE OF JESUS CHRIST.

John 14:6,7 - Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. If ye had know me, ye should have known My Father also: and from henceforth ye know Him, and have seen Him.

UNLESS WE CAN BE CORRECTED, UNLESS WE ARE SEEKING GOD FOR AN UNFOLDING REVELATION OF HIS SON, OUR SO-CALLED "FAITH" MAY BE, IN REALITY, JUST A LAZY INDIFFERENCE, A DECEPTION CONCERNING THE THINGS OF GOD. SUBCONSCIOUSLY, WE MAY ACTUALLY WANT A DEAD RELIGION SO WE DO NOT HAVE TO CHANGE. TRUE FAITH IS FREIGHTED WITH THE POWER OF GOD.

Timothy 3:5 - Having a form of godliness, but denying the power therof: from such turn away.

Genesis 7:4 - For yet seven days, and I will cause it to rain upon the earth forty days and forty nights; and every living substance that I have made will I destroy from off the face of the earth.

The ark had only one door, symbolic of Christ who is the only door to reach God. There came a day, prior to the flood, when they were told to enter the ark, and shut themselves in.

Just as Noah was able to rest within the ark, secure from the waters of death, so we can be assured of spiritual rest, for our lives are hidden with Christ in God.

The ark was a secure refuge from certain death; it was a type of Christ, who provides spiritual refuge for all believers. Noah's obedience to the command of God to build and enter the ark typifies the believer who, by faith, receives Christ and is saved from judgment (spiritual death).

Matthew 6:13 - And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.

THERE IS NO TEMPTATION OR SIN IN HEAVEN. THIS PRAYER DOES NOT IMPLY THAT GOD WANTS TO TEMPT US. WE KNOW FROM JAMES 1:13 THAT IT IS IMPOSSIBLE FOR GOD TO ENTICE US TO SIN.
THIS KIND OF PRAYING IS IMPORTANT BECAUSE IT REQUIRES US TO FACE OUR NEED FOR GRACE. IT HELPS US TO ALIGN OUR HEART WITH HEAVEN - ONE OF ABSOLUTE DEPENDENCEY ON GOD.
THE PHRASE "DELIVER US FROM EVIL", AS IT IS TRADITIONALLY RENDERED, ACTUALLY MEANS, "DELIVER US FROM THE EVIL ONE." A HEART MODELED AFTER HEAVEN HAS GREAT SUCCESS IN SPIRITUAL WARFARE. JESUS WAS ABLE TO SAY, "SATAN HAS NOTHING IN ME."
THE BELIEVER IS TO BE COMPLETELY FREE FROM ALL SATANIC INFLUENCE AND ATTACHMENTS. THAT IS THE CRY VOICED IN THIS PRAYER.

Prov 30:8-9

give me neither poverty nor riches;
feed me with food convenient for me:

9 Lest I be full, and deny thee, and say,
Who is the LORD? or lest I be poor, and steal,

SOME HAVE THOUGHT BEING NICE WAS OF THE SAME ESSENCE AS KNOWING THE TRUTH. IT IS NOT. WE CAN THANK OUR PARENTS THAT WE ARE NICE BUT, IF WE WOULD KNOW THE TRUTH, WE MUST SEEK GOD AND BE WILLING TO OBEY HIM.

Psalm 115:8 - They who make idols are like them; so are all who trust in and lean on them.

IF OUR KNOWLEDGE ABOUT GOD IS NOT CHARGED WITH THE LIFE AND POWER OF GOD, MERE KNOWLEDGE BECOMES AN IDOL IN OUR MINDS. IT IS EASY FOR US TO HAVE IDEAS AND IMAGES OF GOD THAT ARE UNTRUE, WHICH THE HOLY SPIRIT WOULD REMOVE IF WE WOULD LET HIM. THE POWER OF CHRIST'S LIFE IS FILTERED AND PROPORTIONALLY DIMINISHED BY THE NUMBER OF THESE WRONG IMAGES EXISTING WITHIN US.

Matthew 24:4 - Jesus answered them, Be careful that no one misleads you (deceiving you and leading you into error).
 

1 John 2:15 - Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

Someone said, "You can look, but don't touch." This is bad advice. There is much visual distraction today. It's easy to be lured away into worldly thinking and be deceived by the enemy by (continually) looking at something that is beneath a Christian's dignity.

Job 31:1 - "I made a covenant with mine eyes; why then should I think upon a maid?"

What we alow ourselves to see will dictate what we think.

The scripture says, "For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he" (Proverbs 23:7). But the verse right before it says "Eat thou not the bread of him that hath an evil eye.."

It has been said "If you hang out at the Barber Shop long enough you are going to get a haircut." If we allow our eyes to see things they shouldn't, we will eventually wind up doing it. Satan gives a very bad haircut, and in the long run it will turn out to be an expensive one.

Don't have a bad hair day.

Observation

WHEN THE WORD OF GOD IS ABIDING IN ME AND FUNCTIONING PROPERLY, IT WORKS ON ME FIRST BEFORE IT WORKS ON MY CIRCUMSTANCES, "SEPARATING" MY SPIRIT, MY SOUL (MIND, WILL, AND EMOTIONS), AND MY BODY AND GETTING MY SPIRIT INTO A POSITION WHERE I CAN HEAR GOD WITHOUT THE INFLUENCE OF MY SOUL OR BODY.

Ephesians 1:17,19,20 - That He may grant you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the deep and intimate knowledge of Him. And so that you can know and understand what is the immeasurable and unlimited and surpassing greatness of His power in and for us who believe, as demonstrated in the working of His mighty strength. Which He exerted in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His own right hand in the heavenly places.

Affirmation

I KNOW THE MIRACLE OF RESURRECTION FOR ME IS -- JESUS IS THE POWER AND THE POWER IS ALWAYS PRESENT -- THAT SAME POWER THAT RAISED JESUS FROM THE DEAD, ENABLES ME TO RISE OUT OF MY ADVERSE CIRCUMSTANCES AND STEP INTO THE PURPOSES OF GOD FOR MY LIFE.

Proverbs 16:9

9 The mind of man plans his way,
But the LORD directs his steps. NASU ..... :amen

It is wonderful to know that beyond all my planning,
the master planner is directing the steps!
 
John 11:44 - And he that was dead came forth,bound hand and foot with graveclothes: and his face was bound about with a napkin. Jesus said unto them, "Loose him, and let him go."

IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE PEOPLE OF GOD WHO WITNESS SPIRITUAL RESURRECTION TO LOOSE THOSE WHO GET SAVED BY THE POWER OF GOD SO THAT THEY CAN GO. GOD WANTS US TO FLY LIKE EAGLES BUT WE CAN'T DO IT IF WE'RE STILL BOUND BY THE GRAVE CLOTHES OF OUR OLD LIFE.

John 14:27
27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you.
Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. KJV

There are two kinds of peace. Jeasus gives us peace from above,
but the world gives a kind/type of temporary peace, which does not last.
 
Gal 5:22-23
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
23 gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law. NASU

Wonderful...against such things there is NO LAW!
 
Psalms 23
1 The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.
2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.

John 10:14-16
14 I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine.
15 As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep.
16 And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd. KJV

No one know us as well as the Chief Shepherd knows us...Wonderful!
 
Isa 25:9
9 And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this is our God; we have waited for him, and he will save us: this is the LORD; we have waited for him, we will be glad and rejoice in his salvation. KJV

Hab 2:3
3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie:
though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. KJV

Waiting is often the painful part of doing something, but as we endure it pays off! :amen
 
Mark 5:22-24 - And, behold, there cometh one of the rulers of the synagogue, Jairus by name; and when he saw Jesus, he fell at His feet, and besought Him greatly, saying, My little daughter lieth at the point of death: I pray thee, come and lay thy hands on her, that she may be healed; and she shall live. And Jesus went with Him.

JAIRUS IS SO DOGGEDLY DETERMINED TO GET TO JESUS THAT HE FIGHTS HIS WAY THROUGH THE CROWD AND CLEARS OUT ENOUGH ROOM TO FALL AT JESUS' FEET. HE'S MADE A DECISION -- AND WHEN HE GETS TO JESUS, HE SAYS EXACTLY WHAT IT IS: LAY YOUR HANDS ON HER AND SHE SHALL LIVE.
IN A CROWD OF LITERALLY THOUSANDS, THE FAITH DECISION OF ONE MAN IS DIRECTING THE ACTIONS OF JESUS.
IF I AM SITTING AROUND WAITING FOR JESUS TO DECIDE TO HEAL ME .....FOR JESUS TO DECIDE TO HELP ME....... FOR JESUS TO DECIDE TO PROSPER ME AND GIVE ME VICTORY.... I AM IN FOR A LONG WAIT. BECAUSE THAT'S NOT JESUS' DECISION.
IT'S MINE.
