Scripture Of The Day - Understanding Compassion

"And have compassion on some, who are doubting" - Jude 22

Jude wants us to elicit an emotional response from his readers. He wants us to graphically see and understand the seriousness of believers who have backslidden into a life of sin and disobedience. He wants us to "feel" for these critically ill spiritual patients.

Because Jude uses the word "compassion." he is telling us that the spiritual condition of a backslidden believer is just as real and serious as the plight of a starving child, a dying man, or a destitute family.

When genuine compassion begins to flow from your heart, you cannot sit idly by and simply feel sorry about a persons situation. Real compassion says, "I have to get up and do something about this."

INTO ACTION:
If you will allow the love of God flow through you, it won't be long until compassion for these erring believers begins to flow from you to them. Then you will be compelled to see them from their bondage.

If you know people who fit this description, it's time to let the supernatural compassion of Jesus Christ begin to flow out of your heart toward them. By releasing a flow of this powerful force toward them, you could set in motion the very deliverance these individuals need from the power of darkness that binds their souls and keeps them in deception.

Scripture Of The Day - Learning To Hear From The Word

John 20:14-16 - She glanced over her shoulder and saw someone standing behind her. It was Jesus, but she didn't recognize him! "Why are you crying?" he asked her. "Whom are you looking for?" She thought He was the gardener. "Sir," she said, "if you have taken Him away, tell me where you have put Him, and I will go and get Him." "Mary!" Jesus said. She turned toward Him. "Master!" she exclaimed.

Mary looked at the Word.
Mary heard the Word.
But she didn't know the Word. Mary didn't know who it was who stood before her.
But when the Word became personal to her, calling her by name, instantly she recognized Him.

Observation:

As I read, affirm, and meditate on it, the Word will speak to me and become personal to me.

Scripture Of The Day - MULTIPLYING GOD'S KINGDOM

Romans 8:11 - "But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you."

Our purpose is to utilize all of our resurrection authority that resides within us as followers of Christ. As we understand that our spirit is "quickened" by His Spirit, in the same way, we should be "ACCELERATED" to go further and faster now on earth otherwise impossible through mere human effort.

We must – as God's design for Kingdom citizens – take dominion and multiply God's Kingdom on this earth as it is in Heaven! That is indeed the Believer's resurrection authority.

Moreover, Christians should grow in this authority and begin resurrecting forgotten prophetic words, sidelined destinies, dead dreams, shattered relationships, and physical diagnoses for healing and complete wholeness in every area of our lives!

There is no limit to this abiding Resurrection Spirit within every Believer!

Scripture Of The Day - Passing Through Knowledge

Philippians 3:10 - "That I may know Him, and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being made conformable unto His death."

For His sake, we cannot content ourselves merely with good works. ultimately, we will discover that study and church attendance are but forms that have no satisfaction in and of themselves.
Our pleasure will be found not in the mechanics of spiritual disciplines, but that these disciplines bring us closer to the almighty.
We have satisfied ourselves with a system of historic facts about God without pressing into the reality of God. Our goal is to seek earnestly for God until we find Him.

Affirmations:

TO TRULY KNOW GOD I SEEK HIM UNTIL I PASS THROUGH MY KNOWLEDGE INTO AN ENCOUNTER WITH THE ALMIGHTY.

HAVING FOUND HIM I ALLOW HIS PRESENCE TO FILL MY SPIRIT WITH HIS PEACE.

THE UPWARD CALL OF GOD DRAWS ME INTO THE PLACE OF SURRENDER, WHERE I YIELD MY BEING INTO HIS HANDS.

AS I LISTEN TO HIM, I ASCEND HIGHER TO THE DWELLING PLACE OF LOVE.

I PRESS-IN TO KNOW THE LOVE OF CHRIST WHICH SURPASSES KNOWLEDGE.

Scripture Of The Day - God Of The Resurrection

John 11:25 - "Jesus said to her, 'I am the resurrection and the life....."

God wants to resurrect things that have died in you. You may think that your window of occasion is past the time that anything good can happen, but remember we serve the God of the resurrection.

We are to be continually taking ground for the Kingdom of God as we position ourselves in the place that He has called us to. As we continually experience His person our eyes are opened to see from His heavenly perspective.

If we choose not to heed the leading of the Spirit and become proactive in renewing our minds, it is possible that we will limit God's power and anointing from flowing through our lives because of un-renewed thinking patterns that we are still embracing.

You have the potential to believe impossibilities into possibilities."Everything is possible for him who believes." - Mark 9:23

Scripture Of The Day - Diving Into Your Pursuit

John 21:11,12 - "11 Simon Peter went up and dragged the net to land, full of large fish, one hundred and fifty-three; and although there were so many, the net was not broken. 12 Jesus said to them, “Come and eat breakfast.”

When Jesus first came to the disciples on the shore, after the resurrection in John 21, He was ready and waiting to prepare a feast for His beloved.

It's time for us to become like Peter in this passage, and stop waiting for Jesus to come out to us, but rather that we need to rush to be near Him!

As soon as Peter was back on the shore, a feast was there waiting that had been prepared for him by Jesus Himself. It was also at this point when Peter had the deepest conversation he'd ever had with Jesus, which regarded love and his relationship with God, as well as his CALLING. (to feed the "sheep").

As you run to Jesus, and dive into your pursuit after Him, He will most definitely pour out His Spirit and presence on you like never before. He has a banquet feast waiting for you, which includes the new wine and manna of Heaven (also known as His joy, His PRESENCE, and His revelation).

Scripture Of The Day - Untangling Ourselves

John 11:44 - "The man who had died came out, his hands and feet bound with linen strips, and his face wrapped with a cloth. Jesus said to them, 'Unbind him, and let him go.'”

Lazarus had to be untangled before he was free to see, walk with, and touch Jesus again. Get free from everything that hinders your ability to hear, see, touch or walk with God.

It's time to come forth in resurrection power!

When we do remember and call Him, and He comes and acts, He does all the work, free of charge! Our part is only to call -- the Great Physician makes house calls and charges nothing. And yet we continually fail to call Him. Is this reasonable?

You are a part of a people God has produced to penetrate the veil of the ordinary. You are a golden, holy storehouse of God's potential. You have the life in you to liberate literally the entire world.

"..forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus." - Philippians 3:14

Scripture Of The Day - Born Again

John 1:12 - "But as many as received Him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name."

We need to stop laying claim to our family's genetic problems, inheritable sicknesses, dysfunctional behavior, disorders, hang-ups, curses, or any other negative thing that was a part of our life before Christ.

That old person no longer exists. "If any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away behold all things are become new" (2 Corinthians 5:17). The Greek word for "new" describes something that is brand new or recently made. It also carries the idea of something that is superior.

John 1:12 reveals that you received divine power the day you became a child of God. The Greek word for "power" describes a power that is explosive, dynamic, and full of phenomenal ability. That is the kind of power that came to live inside you the day you received Jesus Christ as your Savior!

Scripture Of The Day - Faith Is Aggressive

Hebrews 4:12 - For the Word of God is living and powerful..........

For one who has faith in the Word of God, there is nothing impossible. There are no impossibilities when there is faith..........and there are no exceptions.......

Our faith in God's word is not just an abiding faith; it is active -- it is aggressive by nature.
It has focus and purpose.

Faith grabs hold of the reality of the kingdom and forcefully and violently brings it into a collision with this natural one.
An inferior kingdom cannot stand.

Matthew 11:12 - "And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force."

Romans 10:17 - "So then faith comes by hearing and hearing, by the Word of God."

Scripture Of The Day - Imitators Of Christ

Isaiah 61:4 - "And they shall rebuild the old ruins. They shall raise up the former desolations, and they shall repair the ruined cities, the desolations of many generations."

As imitators of Christ, we know that we were created and called to serve others.

Will you accept the call?

God grants us favor when we are aligned with His purpose for our life so that He can use us to accomplish His divine purpose on the earth. We are all called to advocate for someone.

This season, God is waking up Believers at a critical time. More and more people will realize that they can no longer sit idly by and remain silent. What makes your heart burn? What makes you come alive? We were all created with a divine purpose and a reason that we were born. If you still have breath in your lungs, then you have yet to fulfill your calling. You have been chosen for such a time as this to release the Kingdom around you.

Spend some time asking God to speak to you specifically about your purpose and your destiny. Who are you called to serve? Are you ready to step out into your destiny in this season?

Will you accept your calling in Christ?

Scripture Of The Day - Hunger For The Holy Spirit

2 Corinthians 3:6 - "The letter kills, but the Spirit gives life."

People who are spiritual can only be fed with spiritual food. Jesus says He does not speak or act of Himself:

"The words that I speak to you I do not speak on My own authority; but the Father who dwells in Me does the works." (John 14:10).

Hunger for life in the Holy Spirit immerses us into an intensity of zeal, into a likeness to Jesus; it makes us into pure, liquid metal so hot for God that it travels like oil from vessel to vessel.

This divine life of the Spirit will let us see that we have ceased, yet we have begun. We may be filled with the letter without being filled with the Spirit. We may be filled with knowledge without having divine knowledge. And we may be filled with wonderful natural things and still remain natural men.

We must live in the Spirit, and be growing in the life and works of Jesus, "in season and out of season" (2 Timothy 4:2), always beholding the face of the Master, Jesus (Matthew 18:10).

Scripture Of The Day - Interceding For The Backslidden

By releasing a flow of this powerful force toward them, you could set in motion the very deliverance these individuals need from the power of darkness that binds their souls and keeps them in deception.

Scripture Of The Day - Nothing Is Impossible

Joshua 3:5 - "Then Joshua said to the people, 'Consecrate yourselves, for tomorrow the Lord will do wonders among you.'"

God was telling His people that the only way they were going to be able to defeat their enemies was to prepare themselves -- it was not a matter of strategizing their warfare but preparing their hearts.

Rise up and get ready to take those first steps. Make ready to step into the deep and confront your fears. You have been equipped, prepared, and are not alone. Keep your eyes fixed on His promise and His presence and you will discover a depth of courage on the inside of you as you step out in faith.

Embrace your assignment with conviction and passion, knowing the God of Wonders goes before you. Even as the giants threaten and bear down, know that God has gone ahead of you with Heaven's host to perform miraculous deeds and supernatural wonders that will defy man's unbelief.

Scripture Of The Day - Living In His Redemption

Job 5:19 - "He shall deliver you in six troubles, yes, in seven no evil shall touch you."

God will deliver you from all your troubles. (Psalm 34:19, 2 timothy 4:18). When trouble comes, God does not want you to be discouraged.

He wants you to know that it is only the devil trying to steal His Word from your heart. He will do so by telling you, "Look, your child is sick, Where is God now?" You must not respond by saying, "Well, I guess it does not work. Mabe God's promises of deliverance are not for my family."

No, you must continue to stand on God's promises -- believing His promises of deliverance because His Word is true. God is watching over you. Keep standing on His promises until you come to the place where no evil will touch you!

Scripture Of The Day - God Confidence

2 Corinthians 3:4 - "We have such trust through Christ toward God."

We need to get to a place where we are beyond trusting in ourselves. The only sure place to rest is where you are trusting fully in God.

God is the lover of our soul! Our confidence can only be placed in the rest upon the One who never fails, the One who knows the end from the beginning, the One who is able to come in at the midnight hour as easily as at midday.

To the person who rests completely in Him, "all things work together for good to those who love God" (Romans 8:28). And we have such trust in Him that "All the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us" (2 Corinthians 1:20).

May we have less self-confidence and more God-confidence. Bless His name!

Scripture Of The Day - Pressing-In To Jesus

Zechariah 10:1 - "Ask the LORD for rain in the spring — the LORD who fashions lightning thunderstorms, giving rain showers to mankind along with grain in the fields."

James 5:7 - "Be patient, therefore, brothers, until the coming of the Lord. See how the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, being patient about it, until it receives the early and the late rains."

These scriptures are not just referring to natural rain but to that bright shining cloud of God's Glory that would usher in the outpouring of the Spirit and open the way for the end-time harvest of souls. Both Zechariah and James were looking ahead to the time immediately preceding the return of Jesus.

Because of the time in which we live we cannot afford to just sit around and play church. It is our responsibility to follow the example of the Apostle Paul and make it our determined purpose to know Him, the Anointed One and His Anointing, to know His burden-removing, yoke-destroying power, and to know the power of His Resurrection, which, according to Romans 6:5, is the Glory of God (Philippians 3:10).

It's our responsibility to press on into Jesus until we come to understand God's purpose for our life and experience the Glory! (2 Corinthians 4:6). "Christ in us is the hope of Glory" - Colossians 1:27

Scripture Of The Day - The Resting in God

Matthew 11:28 - "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest."

A place of rest is where God does His most significant work in us. If we are willing to learn how to rest, we will experience a depth of faith not known in a restless place.

God gives us the power and authority to engage in greater exploits in His Kingdom from a place of rest. This rest is purposeful, scheduled, and sacred. This rest must become a lifestyle, a constant way of thinking and living. Rest reveals the God-solutions that a stressed and burned out mind cannot perceive.

Rest will be the place from which the next assignment in God's purpose for your life will be birthed. We enter this place of rest when we choose to lay down our undisciplined ambition and our need to always have to produce -- to validate a lesser identity. We will enter this place of rest through a gauntlet of mocking voices and self-doubt.

We are being reset to align our lives with a greater manifestation of God's Spirit as He invites us to partner with Him in new ways for the advancement of the Great Commission.

Scripture Of The Day - Putting Patience Into Action

James 1:4 - "But let patience have her perfect work, that you may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing."

There is another force that goes along with faith that's just as important. It's patience, the ability to stand fast on the Word of God even when your victory seems slow in coming.

When you run into some kind of trying circumstance the devil's brought your way, let patience have her perfect work. If you remain consistently constant, trusting in and relying confidently on the Word of God, you'll end up perfect and entire, wanting nothing. "Wanting nothing." -- that phrase alone should convince you that patience is a first-rate power that will put the promises of God within your reach.

Put patience into action by continuing to affirm, meditate, and visualize the scripture you are believing for until God's promise manifests.

Scripture Of The Day - Keeping Faith In Everyday Action

Romans 10:8 - "But what does it say? "The word is near you, in your mouth, and in your heart." That is, the word of faith which we proclaim,"

Many believers walk around saying things like, "Well, I am just so tired...I'm so weak...Things are looking so bad." then suddenly, they think they're going to jerk their faith out from under the table and obtain a miracle.

Faith needs to be kept in action every day so it can grow. Why do you have to be so diligent with the Word? Because the devil is diligently making sure the world is surrounding you with fear and sickness and poverty and bad circumstances.

Change your routine and make a decision NOW to begin that spiritual conditioning. Start today and make speaking the word part of your daily life.

Scripture Of The Day - Faith In The Blood

Exodus 12:13 - "The blood shall be a sign for you on the houses where you live; and when I see the blood I will pass over you, and no plague will befall you..."

It is the blood of Jesus alone that delivers you. If you think that it is because of your faith, then you will always be wondering "Do I have enough faith?" When God sees that you see that it is the blood alone that saves, He calls that faith in the blood, and every plague will pass over you!

Every time you think that your deliverance depends partly on God and partly on you, you will not have a settled peace in your heart. But when you know that it is the blood alone that saves, you will have an unshakable peace.
