Dark Knight Rises

Just got back from seeing this. Very very good, very brutal at times especially the fight sequences. Not quite as good as Dark Knight but I wasn't expecting it to be. I know this movie has got a lot of discussion about it but it is a super hero movie, it is about the good vs evil, the one extraordinary person doing what the ordinary person can't, about one standing up for those who can't stand up for themselves. I love these kinds of movies.

A very fitting end to Nolans Batman story.

I saw it Saturday, and I give it a BIG thumbs up!

I was so afraid they would ruin this series by trying to follow up Dark Knight, but I must say it held its own and can stand on its own. The director of this series really differentiates it from others. They are "thinkers" as well as action movies, IMO.

I'm really hoping they'll do a spin off for Lucius Fox, Morgan Freeman's character.
