Do you ever feel it, sense it...the darkness of the world of the unsaved? I'm not trying to sound all holy and morally superior. Far from it. I was trapped in that until I miraculously got saved, and that was only 3 1/2 years ago.
Its just...well, like when my neighbors are up at all hours of the nite and early morning, giving me a hassle. It does still bother me, but now I think...well, they're trapped, too, just as surely as I ever was. They function better than I did, that's for sure, but...trapped is trapped is trapped.
I don't watch a whole lotta TV. When I do, its...crazy. My parents unwind with TV. I watch some of their sitcomes and such and I'm thinking...ugh. Formulaic, kinda mean spirited, and...dark. Hopeless. Bleak.
Its strange to me, because I was so prideful and anti-Christ...before Jesus saved me. Also, I don't view things the way a lot of Christians do...I'd say that I err on the side of mercy and grace, for obvious reasons.
That's neither here nor there...do y'all know what I'm talking about? Can you share any experiences, if you do?
