Dating Activities

Dating activities. Your experience!!!

Some Christians I know think there is something really wrong about dating, believe it or not. Some of the so-holy people appear not to believe a dating activity can be absolutely pure and holy before God. I wonder how these people managed to get married. Maybe their parents brought the partner;) :lol. So strange that some have the mentality that every such 'activity' has a part called 'private stuff behind closed doors' :bigfrown whatever

Ok this thread is about some of the things people should do during dating.

Do you need to buy her a private jet?
Does she need to buy you a mansion?
Must your conversation take place somewhere in a far away land where ordinary candy costs $500, café cost a million dollars etc? Are all these to attract your date?

A lot of things happen. Millions of phone calls, special ringtones for your date:lol

So what activities do take place during dating?;)

I hate it when it finally doesn't work:sad

Dinner, movies, flowers, candies, the traditional dating stuff. When we were separated for a summer, I wrote my wife (before she was my wife) almost every day. That was something. She likes coffee too, so we would go to coffee shops and just relax and talk with each other. Go for a walk, sit on a park bench and enjoy the sunshine or stars. Oh, I wrote poetry for her too, but she's not that into poetry.

The important thing is to get to know the other person so you can cater your courtship to what appeals to them.

Lovely :nod :)

My wife and I have been married for 13 years, but have only been Christians for a little over 2 years. I don't think it would be appropriate to discuss our dating activities. ;)

A lot of movies and dinners. We used to love to hang out at the book store and read and drink coffee.

And some guys do throw stones on top of the ladies roofs to alert them...:lol That's a code: I'm around!;)

My gentleman and I have been dating not quite a year. 14 Nov will be one year. Our activities have ranged from dinner and a movie to nature walks in this park we both love (he does photography, I just like to be outdoors) to church events to camping (seperate tents) to hanging out at his brother and sister in law's place to ... yeah, whatever we're in the mood for really. I'm very good at tromping on boundries, he's very good at reminding me of proper boundries. <giggle>
