[__ Prayer __] Daughter in auto accident

WOW! Praying for you, your daughter and the rest of your family. What a relief to know she'll get through this!
You mentioned losing a daughter the other day, I didn't know you've lost two children. I'm so sorry. I can't even imagine.

Psalm 46:1 - God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

Hugs all around!
Thank you, it's always in the back of my mind... it's like Peter walking on water... living by faith. Life is fragile, more so than we realize. I dont take anything for granted anymore.
What I've learned is God is good, he never leaves our side.

Now we just have to tolerate our daughter... she can get a bit snarky when she's stressed lok.

Weights can be scarey! I got trapped under the bench press when I was a teen with nobody around. Pretty scarey stuff! I'm glad you were around to help that other kid out!
there was no helping it strangled him tongue sticking out between his teeth he was blue and cold i pulled it off him. he fell off brushed my leg ..i still do the gym but i am cautions what i lift. if i have to do i can til bar dump the weight off 58 to old get hurt lifting i do enjoy it ..

my ex gf has ptsd from a car wreck we were in. I have the back injury from it.

Back when, you didnt have to have insurance unless you had a previous accident.

You didn't need it in WI when I moved here in 2003. That changed around 2009 I think.

I can't fathom the burden you're under now. I mean, my grown kids give me more than a fair share of grief, but ...

:pray

Lifting up you and yours, Brother ...

Jeff's a runner so doesn't know what a Smith press is, but this accident was needless; it has stops you can set anywhere floor to ceiling so you can push yourself hard without a spotter and never get in trouble. That and the Cybex leg press were my favorite machines during my years as a gym rat

Wow.... I'm sorry. I didnt catch that he didnt make it. What a horrible thing to walk into. My youngest son and I experienced something at the lake similar years and years ago when a boy apparently had an asma attack and drowned on the ropes.

Contrary to Razeontherock, I lifted for years but was forced to stop both lifting and running 3 years ago. I've put on almost 20 pounds since quitting. I still ride my bike, but not as often as I'd like.

You sound like you were the little trouble maker in your younger years lol! I'll bet we could swap some good stories!

Well, she was delirious yesterday... she didnt get hit in the door. It looks closer to a head on. We wont really know what happened until the police report comes out.

Here are some pictures of her car.

I'm sorry to hear about this, definitely not a fun thing.

I will be praying for God to use his healing hands to help her recover to the fullest extent!

I am thankful that she is still here =)
Thank you!
Life is still good, and we've been through tougher. I'm a firm believer that scripture is true when Paul writes
Romans 8:28 King James Version (KJV)
28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

Nothing that happens to us is wasted. God uses it all for good. We dont always understand this, and at times we certainly dont like it.... but it is what it is. We continue on and we are blessed.

The doctors did say that with surgery, she will be able to walk without trouble. But we both know that surgery of these types only lasts 15 or 20 years.

You're welcome.

I am glad that the hope is there and may God lend His strength to you all.

It is true that God has his own plans and we do not always understand or enjoy when it unravels.

This reminds me of Job 36:26 :

How great is God--beyond our understanding! The number of his years is past finding out

And

Isaiah 55:8 :

"For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways," declares the LORD.

Wow! :eek2That's horrible! By the way, you already know that I was a troublemaker in my youth too, except for the fact I'm now older and wiser, nothing really has changed all that much. :lol

Yeah that does not look like a T-bone. Maybe she was pulling out and oncoming traffic plowed into her? That's the extent of my forensic expertise, lol. I mean, it's possible; now you have me wanting to know what the Police will conclude. Also wondering if they took any eyewitness accounts.

None of that matters compared to your daughter's full recovery, of course. The surgery won't last because they're leaving something in like a steel plate or artificial joint?

Was a trouble maker? Was??? lol! Your just a wiser, older trouble maker! Haha. Hey, it keeps you young! That's my story anyway.
P.s. you know im kidding. I think.. maybe.

I'm thinking you and I are coming to the same conclusion. Apparently the other person didnt have insurance either. This is going to be interesting....

I need shoulder surgery, but I'm too head strong to go in. I've been told by other people that like most knee surgeries, they dont last and your just back in again. I dont know how bad her ankle is, but it sounds pretty bad. I'm assuming they will be screwing plates to her bone etc. Again, I'm not real sure.
This is when HIPAA laws kinda suck and since I wasnt in the room when the doctors came in, the questions I have were never asked...

I love my wife dearly. She is a good Mom. She was in the room to comfort, not inquire.

Alright,.. apparently I have to spell it out for you. So be it then. :lol (I'm really mostly trying to make you feel better. :yes)
