the Lake, is on YouTube has minerals that when animals or birds get wet the turn ti stone and that’s how you find their dead bodies, birds that landed in the water freeze into that position. You really have to see it to appreciate. Can’t imagine what it must feel like to the unlucky swimmer. How are you ?

No, not exactly. Snow is a rarity, but there are some winter weather advisories already. I am thinking we may get snow this year like we did last year. You getting snow?

Hi, thanks such a kind thought for our weather. I like your name luminous rose. May I ask what led to it? Did you take it from the Rose of Sharon? I always liked this verse with the juxtaposition of the Rose and the Lily of course both pointing to our Lord. The differences between the two are what fascinate me. The Rose speaks of His majesty and if red His she blood. Then the Lily pure white and it grows bent over as if in a humble state.

“I am the rose of Sharon, and the lily of the valleys.” (Solomon 2:1)

I thought of my username because I like roses, but also kind of had a Beauty and the Beast type vibe to it thinking about the cursed rose.

Rose of Sharon would have been the last thing on my mind...I knew a lady named Sharon and a little girl named Sharon and they don't involve the best memories of my life so yeah. I do still enjoy roses, though.
