Death

Was just reading Philippians and the Lord pointed this out to me about having His new body for us:
Philippians 3:21 "21 Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself."
That's the KJ.
The NLT is "21 He will take our weak mortal bodies and change them into glorious bodies like his own, using the same power with which he will bring everything under his control."
The Amplified is "21 Who will [a]transform and fashion anew the body of our humiliation to conform to and be like the body of His glory and majesty, by exerting that power which enables Him even to subject everything to Himself."

So there is a literal, open proof that we shall Have the same body as Jesus, for anyone interested. :)

That is what I thought....
 
God likes to put cool stuff in 3:21 format; informing us that we shall get the same body Jesus has in Phil 3:21 and then informing us of restoring all things back to the conditions of Eden in Acts 3:21.

I saw that scripture before, and pondered that. Back to relationship. Adam & Eve may have been more spiritual beings than natural before the fall. With total access to the spiritual realm. Maybe he could even fly. We don't really know at this point but I suspect that we lost a lot more than we realize when we fell.
 
Oh Jesus You Are High and Lifted Up. Going back to the OP about even my thoughts as a non-believer. I've asked God from a little girl to let me go quickly when it's time. And I've almost lived that happening by my own hand. But for The Grace of God!!! and it goes again with I've always said that if we could see, really see-past the natural, what is going on even around us-we would run, not walk, into the arms of Jesus and stay there! I've been given glimpses along the way.

Having had some time under my belt-being a believer-Trusting and Believing His Word-And coming to know The One True God-to the best of my ability-He will never ever leave me! So I can be content in all things while I live here on earth. But still at times, my thoughts have to be checked. Are they bringing life! Am I walking in a renewed mind? We are being perfected. There is quite a journey to be walked on this earth if we don't give up. And this particular walk is filled with Hope along the Way. I've lived that so many times. He brings into Our Path Along The Way What We Need. My my.

One example that just won't go away until I type it concerns my best friend, my grandma. I want to say from the onset that, I believe, God reveals to each of us what He wants revealed (going without saying that is if we are Seeking The Kingdom and His Righteousness) because that is in keeping with: all of us believers are a part of the body. One of us does this and the other does that...

I had not, at the time of my grandmother's death, been sanctified or justified yet...having had a spiritual experience with God but was still carnal and still in the world! It came later that I totally left behind and was totally separated from the desires of the world; the flesh and the pride of life. It's hard for me even to type this because its true. There is a place In God-even while we live on earth. And it is only In The Cross-The Power of God that takes us to that place. Anyway. tears now. So my grandmother was a believer, in that, all I know of this is: I truly believed she prayed but she never talked about Him. (But then again, maybe my ears were deaf) And she watched Sunday morning church on tv. She had had parts of her feet amputated. (diabetes) and at the age of 84 one night at home she fell and had to be taken to the hospital. (My mother lived with her and took care of her.) Well she died. Plain and simple-she was dead. I was told she was very very peaceful about it all. Well she got revived! So I got to see her and be with her in ICU under this circumstance. Now I was not a real strong Christian yet. And for my grandma to be in that condition-scared me. It kept coming to me over and over-is she really saved? I needed to pray with her-but she was on morphine for one thing and talking of all manner of crazy things. Nonetheless, I was terrified and couldn't ask her. Living with big guilt and asking and praying to The Lord about it all. (Notice: Praying To The Lord About it all!) Not going to some spiritualist, or whatever, and asking to be connected with her! No!!! As far as I'm concerned I will talk to her again in Heaven or I won't. If she is there I will. If I am there, I will. But I had been praying and asking The Lord; and at her funeral (yes, she died again); but above the casket and I even blinked my eyes; I saw a vision of Jesus above her casket!!! So to me, He answered and immediately I was in Peace.

I would say to you Edward that you ought to read Kenneth Copeland's "The Blessing of the Lord Maketh Rich, And He Addeth No Sorrow With It" because what you are talking about it all explained in there by the Scriptures.
Also, since we're having everything restored to the original condition as per Acts 3:21, and according to Phil 3:21 we get Jesus' same body, then that means Adam and Eve had the same body Jesus has now and it was filled with glory and they were clothed in glory just as John saw Jesus when he saw Him in Revelation. Every place you see the description of God you see the same type of description, about the glory of the Lord about Him. Read that book after you read The Curse of The Rodain ;)
