Who am I?
Well, first and foremost, I am a child of God. Imperfect? Very. Do I have all the answers? Definitely not!

However...
I am trying to figure out life and how to live it according to God's Word- I want Him to be a part of everything that I am. I want His Word to dictate everything that I do.

Yet...
Applying His Word to my random, daily life scenarios is not always easy. Just imagine, how big the Bible would have to be if it were to have all the answers! Downloading the Bible app on my iPhone would surely crash it. But of course, the Bible is not always specific to our every situation, and thus, as Christians, we must seek out help from other believers- you know, get their perspective, interpretation, and advice about life. So that is why I am here.

I am a young wife- just 21 and married going on three years to my wonderful high school sweetheart and best friend. I am a nursing student, just 3 semesters away from being an RN (!!! [: ). I am an artist, a golfer, a piano player, a poet, a bookworm, a thrift-store addict, a church member, a dog-owner, and a bit of an introvert (I value my alone time). ;)

So that is me. Who are you? I hope to find out- in this lifetime or the next, for in heaven we shall be known as we were on earth!

Great introduction dear sister in Christ. For such a young age you seem to have a full load, and I can think of no better way to ease the burden than lay it on our Lord, and He is willing. Come with us in the journey and hopefully we'll do you good as we edify one another along the way, and provide the sweet fellowship of Christian encouragement as we grow in grace together. Welcome to these forums in the precious name of our Lord and Savior Jesus.

I'm so happy you described yourself first and foremost as a child of God!
Amen to that! There are so many Chrisitians that lack their true identity in Christ! You have been forgiven, justified, adopted, made a child of God and now you've got a light that shines so bright it draws people to you!

I'm in my late 40's and am married to the most wonderful woman any guy could ask for. My youngest son is 14 and I'm fearful we'll be empty nesters soon. My wife is looking forward to that lol, but I"m not so sure I am lol! After all, when my son leaves, who will I wrestle with? Who can I crank up the stereo with? haha!

Welcome to our perfectly imperfect forum. None of us have all the answers even though you might find one or two who think they do lol!

Glad you've joined and I look forward to reading more from you!
 
Hi, teeleaf. So glad you have joined us, I'm sure you are a grand addition and will have many ways to edify us, as well. We have more and more young people joining us. That is exciting, you have so much to give.

I am a grandma, not mentioning age. I have a wonderful husband, four grown children, six grandchildren.
I live in rural, mountainous USA.

Thank you Eugene, StoveBolts, Deborah13, and farouk for the warm welcome, and thank you each for sharing so much about yourselves in your responding posts! I must admit, I did not expect so many comments, and the surprise was a pleasant one. With college and my full time job as a wife dominating much of my time, my posts may come few and sparsely, but when I do drop by to visit my little forum community I will do my best to give you all a peek into the window of my life and my heart.
