Look at every English translation; they have it translated correctly, where "the Nephilim" or "giants" is at the start of the verse.


I see that I misspoke above. Hebrew reads right to left; it's backwards from English. You're reading it left to right, which is the end of the verse. I'll correct what I wrote, lest someone else get confused.

Look at the link I provided for Genesis 6 in the interlinear. Notice that the first word(s) of verse 4 are "the Nephilim," and it matches with what English translations say.

I turned on my TV and it was Arnold Murray who my daughter did quick research after He mistakenly said Moses instead of Noah in the segment of the show where people asked questions and answers; only to find what their church believed and that He passed away.

Well I'd brought her and her spouse in on this to see if she could help me understand something else, so I recorded it for them to see later. Before I knew it another ? perplexing question came up. Anyway later I googled His name and found His teaching on the subject. I still am slow at trying to understand when he explains the language part.

Now when I read Genesis back when I remembered that it seemed like the author was giving an overview first, and then explains the detail in another paragraph.

But what is your take on his teaching ?. Do you agree with Him? And if so why, and if not why?

The Nephilim "fallen ones" and not "fallen giants". What I call Hollywood style. Fallen mankind daughters and sons of men, not born of God.

The division of mankind. . .to represent the first birth. . . . daughters of men or son of mankind .

The second of God not seen born again

Sons of God (Christians) is what we are just as them before the flood..

The Young's Literal in this case seems to give a better understanding .

Interesting the phrase "to the age" many changes were made as a reminder not to be unevenly yoked with non Christians . . . the age of death changed to a 120 years and again in the Psalm 70 or 80 years.

Because of being unevenly yoked they destroyed the born again seed (Christ) Seed of the second birth
the whole earth changed . . mountains raised valleys lowered river were cut out

The ground to represent mankind (Adam red earth) no longer watered from the earth.

That water represents the gospel. It would seem to be used to indicate striving with mankind changed . After the flood inspiration from above spoken of below sealed with a sign to all nations rainbow clouds

It would seem to protect the believers from the evil one earthly inspired coming from sons of mankind. False teachers .
