Haven't read the entire thread and have no intention of debating. But to answer the OP...no. Men and women have the same rights before God. Despite the passages that at first glance say the opposite, I'd argue (if I was going to argue) that this is scriptural.

1 Corinthians 11
3 But I want you to know that the head of every man is Christ, the head of woman is man, and the head of Christ is God.


If man is the head of woman, then it only stands to reason that woman is just a hair below man.

I don't want to argue either, I'm simply pointing something out.

There's an article I posted that looks at these passages deeper in other threads in this subject.

After participating in some unpleasant debates on this subject, I wish to stay out of it as much as possible...while still putting in some two cents.
