Disney to acquire Lucasfilm

It looks like as part of the announcement Disney is planning a release of episode 7 of Star Wars in 2015. Thoughts?

Star Wars and Disney? I like both, but initial though: I would prefer they stay separate. Disney has their way of doing things, and Lucasfilm has theirs...y'know? I just hope that it's nothing like what currently/typically airs on Disney XD. (Which I don't know every show on there, but the only one I really like is Phineas and Ferb.)

I don't know, Disney couldn't do a worse job than Lucas did on the prequels.

This is true. I'm more worried about them "remaking" the original 3, which would be a major crime ...

I sure hope none of the Disney execs read this and see it as a challenge.

The decision to sell LucasFilms this year was in order to pay this year's tax rates on the profits .... it was estimated that next year's tax rates would see a huge capital gains tax rate on the profits.

Makes sense to me
