do we require more educated women?

How would some men feel if their wife was more educated and made more money?

It'd be fine by me! Education makes for a well rounded person. Making more money (when used properly) provides more opportunities to do God's work without as much stress about how to fund it.

I think it is all about humility.

Husbands are commanded in scripture to love their wives. That means you want what is good for them. If education and a well paying job are good for a wife, then a husband should support that. At least that's my opinion on it. Of course, scripture also makes the husband the spiritual head of the family, so it should be noted that the educated high paid wife should also exercise her humility and not let this make her think she should take her husbands place.

Exactly.

My husband never had a problem with it.
I worked with women who had the stay at home husband. She went to work and he stayed home with the kids and did the things the housewife does.It seemed to save them a ton of money on daycare and he loved it and the kids loved it.Then she would come home to a nice home cooked meal :)

That would have been OK with me but my husband would have hated not working. He's slowing down some now and actually taking it easier. He works 4 , 10 hr days and has 3 off.
He took our grandson, Lexy's son, fishing this morning. They had a blast. They brought home seven nice trout for dinner.

See you have to have the husband with the personality to want to do such a thing. It would not be for all guys.My son has never been fishing. He said he sure would have liked to have a dad who would have done that with him.

Jake is fortunate to have his grandpa and a couple uncles to do things with him. His dad is sporadic about even calling him let alone visiting. It makes Jake very sad.

He was so serious about it when he got home. He had to tell me which lures worked and which ones didn't. The fish were really feisty today he said, they were jumping way out of the water and a couple got away. So fun!
Kids are the best!

I went out deep sea fishing with my brothers and my dad.My brother and I were feeling a little woozy so we went down in the cabin.....very bad idea.I was afraid I was not going to die that day. :lol

Too right kids are tops ! Good idea for him to learn about lures it's the best way to fish. I've never really gotten the hang of it yet and still use bait sometimes.

What does the bible say about this?

several things, but first, who is "we" ? in do "we" in the title ? if you're a bot, which is unlikely but still possible, then "we" is like tron. if you're a feminist, which is more likely than a bot, but still an undesirable answer, then "we" is a bunch of zealous disobedient people with a cause more important than God Himself. if you're a republican, then.... we'd better not go there! if you're a roman(religious not politic), then that was answered 2000 years ago (not good for men nor women). if you're married, then did you ask the question of did she? (for that matter, online anonymity is such perhaps, no.... couldn't be... but who is? who can tell? )
so, there's lots of 'right' answers. in line with Yhwh's Word. and against all that normal people think and say and do.

I think most of us took it that "we" is referring to us people in general.

for people in general, more knowledge won't help - just causes more pain and oppression and a (literal) stampede away from Yhwh's Word.
Yhwh's Word says (simple honest) obedience is more important. Turn to Him to find His Life, then to be alive living and His amongst His people. Men and women both, all, need more knowledge of Him, real and true and experiential knowledge, to walk in His Life.
