I think they are aware.If not why would they want to deceive?Satan is the King of lies and deceiving.
These people will not bear fruit.
God is very clear how He will deal with them Matthew 7:21-23.

Go back and read Ephesians I think it is, how the apostle Paul kept the wolves at bay, so to speak, until he departed. After that the wolves tore the flock apart.

I think if you(the average reader in general) try to rebuke or correct a wolf, you will be the one dismissed.(this happens in a lot of groups, for monetary and other reasons).

You have to be careful because their interpretation may be quite different from yours.
It's good that there are different views on the site because it helps our personal conviction towards God. Iron sharpens iron.
Without each others convictions how can we learn what we personally view as right? Does that make any sense?

really, according to Scripture, it may be that(for a time) the only way you may know is the same way a baby lamb knows the difference between a wolf and a shepherd.

Most people think that they are right in what they do. While others may think that they are misguided or evil they may consider themselves correct and right. Few actually want to deceive and destroy. Most people think themselves good and righteous.

So I would think most people that appear to be wolves aren't aware they are seen as wolves because in their head there is a good reason why they act the way they do.

I dunno. I think that on some level they know. Could they be so far into the darkness that they might actually think that the Lord would fall for such a line? Or that they were actually doing good?

When I do something wrong, or handle something poorly...I know it on some level. Don't we all?

can you word the question better, please ? as it is, if anyone tells you who a wolf is, someone else will dispute it and say it's someone else; then someone will dispute that, and say it's someone else or we can't know.

reword, like what do you want to know for ? is the way someone treated you or a friend like a wolf instead of like a dove ?
did someone bring a different Jesus to believe in ? (a false Gospel)
did someone say that sin(a lot of sin is allowed and even approved in mixed groups) is okay , and just go along with them and you'll be okay ?

also, once a wolf is exposed, that doesn't mean it leaves the area. it may get worse and attack everyone who knows it's there. or it may go and get others and bring them back for support, or others from inside the area who it already has tricked.

so, are you sure you want to know ? or what you want to know ?
