Speaking as a post-gay, I think you have to realize that one reason homosexuality/sodomy is so terrible is because its rooted in extreme self-love. Even psychiatrists recognized this. Psychoanalysts used to write about the connections between narcissism (the psychobabble version of extreme self-love) and homosexuality. Paul says something to the effect that sodomy results when people exchange the truth of God for a lie, for images they create, and for their own personal nonsense. Then, consciences seared, hearts hardened, they turn to their own sex for pleasure and some sort of narcissistic emotional fulfillment.

I think you should source who the psychiatrists are who claim homosexuality is linked to narcissism. Most of what you just explained is not exclusive to homosexuality. That is a characteristic of all sexuality, period. This is easily shown by our over sexed culture. Sex is used to sell products by placing either a beautiful women or man on a magazine or an add next to a product. Innuendo is used to suggest that buying a product makes you sexier. Most make up, body wash, deodorant, shampoo, the clothes we where, the cars the cars we drive, the jobs we have, etc. These are all used to show we have either power or attractiveness, and what dose that mean? Sex, of course we have other motives, but our advertising industry is focused on our sexual urges and needs. Children, to young are naturally slightly narcissistic due to hormone overload. I'm not promoting anything, I'm just pointing out that homosexuals are not exclusively guilty of what you say they are. ;)
