Do you put money in the Salvation army bucket?

Hi Gary, glad to hear from you.
My church serves 2 hot meals a week to the poor as well as a food bank once a week.
The needs in my area go well beyond that.

Is anyone working on filling those needs?

Well Gary, I don't know the politics of it all.
But several other churches as well as the United Basket and the DAV provide food services.
We have a couple of ministries county wide that provide housing for various needs.
But since my church provides hot meals, we have people passing through that are not being helped all the time.
Mostly homeless, people just getting out of prison, wonderers, etc.
We refer them where we can, help who we can, even reach into our pockets when we can.
But there is too much.
