Do you really want to know the truth?

If the the truth incriminates you (makes you look real bad)
If Jesus Christ is not the truth.
If all your beliefs are found to be false
If you have to watch a video highlights reel of all your sins
If you are much worse than you realised
If you discover how stupid you really are

I thank God that I do know the truth, and as Jesus said in John 8:32-34 it freed me from committing sin.

John 8:31 Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;
John 8:32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
John 8:33 They answered him, We be Abraham's seed, and were never in bondage to any man: how sayest thou, Ye shall be made free?
John 8:34 Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin.
John 8:35 And the servant abideth not in the house for ever: but the Son abideth ever.
John 8:36 If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.

I thank God for the many times His Holy Spirit convicted me of my wrong doing and set me free from the bondage of my sin. I'm not saying I am perfect, but when I do sin the Holy Spirit is quick to convict me of it.

If you are "free", you are perfect.
Jesus said we can only serve one master,, and if that master is sin, (v34), we are not free.
