cubedbee,

Thank you for your well-reasoned post. I appreciate it.
I do take issue with the last comment based on one of my previous posts, however.

The 2nd law of thermodynamics is observable in open systems, and the presupposition that it does not apply isn’t accurate. This neither supports, nor disproves evolution.[quote:bfc28]

I was neither trying to prove evolution, or disprove it. I was simply pointing out, in response to Drew, that the 2nd law of Thermodynamics could apply to an open system. I am not drawing anyone's conclusions for them. I am simply, as others who are in the field of science or enjoy science, discussing and drawing my own conclusions.

But the implication that "the 2nd law can be applied to open or closed systems to disprove the possibility of evoluion" is false.
I did not say or support this quoted section. In fact, I disagreed with Pack's effort to "prove" God with science in my first post.

However, that being said, I would not use any of this to attempt to prove there is a God.
Probably just an oversight.

Second reply sent to edit my quotes for clarification, sorry Cubedbee.

Just saw your post Drew. I admire what you said. I would like to refer you the post I just sent Cubedbee...the second edited version if you want it to actually make sense. Anyway, I did not imply that it either proved or disproved evolution. As I said before, I am not in the habit of drawing other people's conclusions for them. Nor, do I allow them to draw mine.

Be well.

Point well taken - we need to be careful in reading what others actually say and not presume that they are saying things they are not. Welcome to the Board, by the way (I assume you are new).

Thank you for your post.

Yes, I am new to this board. I appreciate your welcome. I enjoyed the discussion.
