Does humanity still have a sin problem that needs fixing?

Bonairos, Hebrews 9:22 teaches us that without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness. That means only faith in Jesus blood can there be forgiveness, because only Jesus' blood can contribute to forgiveness and salvation, NOTHING WE DO, FAITH ONLY!

When was the last time Jesus shed blood?

Answer: AT CALVARY!

Keep this in mind... NO HUMAN works whatsoever can blot out your sins, only Jesus' shed blood and FAITH IN IT can!

1. Without Jesus' spilled blood there can be no forgiveness of sin. So that means your continuous praying, works etc cannot add to your forgiveness or salvation. Only Jesus' blood can do that which is a benefit for you the moment you came to Christ by faith and accepted Him as your Lord and Saviour.

2. Jesus stopped bleeding at Calvary 2000 years ago and is no longer bleeding, so FULL ATONEMENT, FULL PAYMENT of sin has to have been fulfilled and 100% completed at Calvary! Hence, Jesus said, "IT IS FINISHED", John 19:30

3. As soon as a person believes and trusts in Christ Jesus, their sins are gone from them, and gone away for ever and they are given eternal life NOW, 1 John 5:13.

Then the Bible goes on to say, “As far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us.” (Psalm 103:12) They cannot be removed and be here still.

You will cast all our sins into the depths of the sea. – Micah 7:19

Hebrews 9:26 – He did away with sin on the Cross
Hebrews 9:28 - He took away the sin of the world at the Cross
Colossians 2:13 - He forgave all sins on the Cross – past present and future
Hebrews 1:3 – God cleansed all sins on the Cross
2 Cor 5:19 - God no longer counts the world’s sins against them
Hebrews 10:17-18 – God has forgiven all sins and forgotten them.

So, if you believe and trust in Christ, you are no more in the sight of God a sinner, you are accepted as though you were perfect, as though you had at kept the law perfectly, for Christ has kept it, and his righteousness is yours. You’ve broken it, but your sin is his, he has been punished for it and you’ve been pardoned from it.

Perhaps now we are getting somewhere. "IF you believe . . ."

And IF one doesn't? Would you then say they (part of humanity) indeed still has a sin problem?

BTW you haven't answered my YES or NO questions imposed on you.

Be blessed, Stay blessed, and be Bold!

No Bonairos, I would not say that humanity still has a sin problem, even for the lost and even for those who reject Jesus, they don't have a "SIN PROBLEM" that causes them to be lost...they are lost because they REJECTED CHRIST!

If mankind has a sin problem that still needs to be atoned for and fixed, then Jesus died in vain and His sacrifice was INCOMPLETE and Jesus LIED when He said IT IS FINISHED!

There will be 2 groups left:

1. Those who accepted Christ.

2. Those who rejected Christ (Truth)

It was not SIN that caused the lost to be lost. This following verse explains why they were lost:

2 Thessalonians 2:10 and in every sort of evil that deceives those who are perishing. They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved.

John 14:6 says Jesus IS THE TRUTH, so those people refused to love the truth, hence, they refused to love Jesus because JESUS IS THE TRUTH! This applies also to people who lived and never heard about Jesus and never seen a Bible, e.g people living and dying in the darkest part of the Amazon, or Muslims who were forbidden to hear about Jesus and read a Bible!

Anyone who claims and teaches that the lost are lost because of their sinning, is teaching an ignorant doctrine, because even the redeemed and saved keep on sinning. But what is the difference? The saved are imputed with Jesus' righteousness and saved by faith and grace alone and the lost are not. That's it!

If the lost still had a sin problem that caused them to be lost, then that means the saved are also lost due to a "sin problem".

Now to your questions you asked me:

Do you sin as a Christian?" Realistically, YES! But legally in God's eyes I am sinless and have never sinned (Justified)

"Are ALL your actions pleasing to God?" Yes because I AM IN CHRIST and Father God legally sees me wearing Jesus' robe of righteousness and as if I had never sinned!

"Would you consider displeasing God (sin) in ANY way to be a problem that needs fixing?" Eh? reword your question please.

P.S Nice pic of you and your wife. You look like an UFC Fighter actually hehe ;) If I ran into you in a dark alley, I would run the other way :)
