Ending own's life (or committing suicide) is equal to murder which is sin. The only thing special is that it is the last sin the sinner commits because he is murdering himself. In another case, if a person lied (for example: he does not want the truth to cause problem to his loved ones) on his deathbed, then the last sin that the person committed is lying.
Isn't both lying and murder sinning? So why is everyone so focus murder?
The basics for this comes from the "Grace plus work salvation"
1) The Christian died in his sin.
2) The Christian do not have a chance to confess of his sin because confession can only be done while we are still alive.
Some Christians believe that they need to confess ALL their sins before they can be saved. This is a wrong belief.

The only sin that will cause everyone to go to hell is NOT doing the will of the Father which is accepting Jesus and trusting in his finished work on the cross as payment for our sins.
Matthew 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

And what is the will of the Father?
John 6:40 And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him may have everlasting life; and I will raise him up at the last day.”

I am not encouraging people to do kill themselves. But I am concern about how Christian are holding onto wrong belief and with wrong belief, it will affect the foundation of their walk with Christ.

Doesn't God want us to obey Him?
And i doubt the stance is "we need to confess", but more "we need to repent". We need to repent of sin.

In which case you are going about reaching people the wrong way.

It is not the controversial subjects that those going astray get wrong, but the basics of Christianity.

Those who contemplate suicide, like I did many years ago, are caught up in four devastating feelings: illness, hurt, abandonment and doubt as they feel no hope of the future. If they do not have a relationship with Christ through that of a Spiritual rebirth, John 3:3-7, then they are already destined to go to the lake of fire as their names are not found in the Lambs book of Life and will come under Gods judgement.

Many Christians who are weak in faith also contemplate suicide when things get unbearable in their life because they become consumed with their problems leaning on their own understandings instead of leaning on God whom is their help in times of trouble. This allows Satan who comes to kill, steal and destroy prey on them and steal what little faith they have.

The question is, even if they have weak faith do they still go to Hell if they commit suicide? I think it is possible because they lost all faith and hope in God therefore leaving themselves void of God in their life, which would cause them to be separated from God as they turn from that faith which is Christ Jesus. We also have Gods commandment thou shall not kill. God will forgive a murder who repents, but where is repentance if you are dead and can no longer ask for it. It repented (having regretted) Judas that he sold out for that of riches and even though he gave the money back he went and hung himself, Matthew 27:3-5, instead of asking Jesus to forgive him instead.

We also have heard that our sins are forgiven past, present and future for Christ paid the price for all sin even though we fall short at times, but grace keeps us in that of Gods righteousness which is found in us and God knows the intents of our hearts. If one ask for forgiveness before they sin are they forgiven? Answer to that in my perspective would be why would one sin willingly knowing they are going to sin. Grace does not give us a license to sin.

God is the life giver and in Him are we made in His image. Who has that right to take away what God has given.

Psalms 33:18 Behold, the eye of the LORD is upon them that fear him, upon them that hope in his mercy;
Psalms 33:19 To deliver their soul from death, and to keep them alive in famine.
Psalms 33:20 Our soul waiteth for the LORD: he is our help and our shield.
Psalms 33:21 For our heart shall rejoice in him, because we have trusted in his holy name.
Psalms 33:22 Let thy mercy, O LORD, be upon us, according as we hope in

1Corinthians 6:19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?
1Corinthians 6:20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.

Proverbs 3:1 My son, forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments:
Proverbs 3:2 For length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee.
Proverbs 3:3 Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart:
Proverbs 3:4 So shalt thou find favour and good understanding in the sight of God and man.
Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
Proverbs 3:6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

After decades of reflecting on the Bible's truths, I have come to the conclusion that the unforgivable sin is lifelong, active or passive rebellion against God, who at some point lets people have their own way. After all, we're all born heading toward hell:
Eph 2:1 And you were dead in the trespasses and sins
Eph 2:2 in which you once walked, following the course of this world, following the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that is now at work in the sons of disobedience—
Eph 2:3 among whom we all once lived in the passions of our flesh, carrying out the desires of the body and the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, like the rest of mankind.

In addition, suicide is most often caused by the disease of major depression, which needs professional and spiritual help. It is also a self-centered sin. When we believe in Jesus, all the guilt we have built up past, present, and FUTURE has been removed by God our Judge. Therefore, if the suicidal person is indeed a true believer, that sin has been declared not-guilty too.

What would you say of Samson...

Aside from Samson and Judas I cannot think of any important suicides in scripture. Obviously I could be mistaken.

The Catholic Church came down hard on suicides. A lot of that though was because the church itself was so intertwined with the existing government. Suicide meant taking the power of life and death away from God but really the issue seems to have been that it was an antisocial and highly individualistic act that defied the state’s power over life and death of its subjects.

Sociologists have studied suicide for over 100 years. Suicide a study by Emile Durkheim is something of a classic. As a social phenomenon suicide can be divided into 4 types: egoistic altruistic fatalistic and anomic. Egoistic and anomic are both caused by too little social integration and the altruistic and fatalistic are caused by intense integration.

Other experts have noted the effects of poverty and also wealth on suicide. Basically as people move from the norm in a community the suicide rate goes up. So if the norm in one’s community is 50K a year etc, then both the poor person and a person making 350k annually are at a higher risk of suicide although on the surface it’s for very different reasons.

Ok ✅ sorry to ramble! I think and believe that God knows us through and through better than we will ever know ourselves. Suicidal? God not only gets the emo aspect of it He sees the whole picture and the whole person 🧍‍♂️. I think 🤔 that He is merciful and just. I also think…based largely on having dealt with the mental health industry…

That social and economic change has the potential yo reduce suicide rates and improve the quality of life on a large scale. Pills shock and talk? Not so much…

The quality of life for billions of people is worse than ever, including for many in the usa. It is getting continually worse because society is ungodly and death dealing.
Suicide has dramatically gone up, big increase, not in the news but happening daily.
The more pharmakeia gets power, or religion, the more suicides OR just no life.

Exactly 👍

We have this crazy situation where a handful of insanely rich people have more money and power than billions of other people combined. In the USA 🇺🇸 we have super rich people rich people and then well to do people..,

And once someone drops below the top 20 percent or so it’s like one has become a non entity. It’s crazy and crazy making.

Christianity without Jesus Christ…the whitewashed tombs and form of godliness lacking the power thereof mentioned in scripture…

Seem to get all the media attention and book sales etc. eek 😬 mega churches ⛪️ are growing smaller community churches are dying and society as a whole is becoming more….

I’d say barren. People turn inward because the economy is rough and rigged no real future for lots of people. They’ll tell you to be drug free in school 🏫 but what they mean is you can’t choose your drugs the experts will tell you what to take. If you pay out pocket maybe you’ll get some Xanax or an upper to help you focus on that job that barely pays the bills and seems more meaningless each passing day…

I dunno 🤷‍♂️ democracy won’t save our souls but if we gave it a try maybe it would make life more livable…

Love most of your post, and posts, in truth in Jesus testimony good for you in reality.
Democracy though has ruined many lives, wiped out many species of animals and fish and birds, and wiped out many tribes over the last century and the last thousand years.
i.e. democracy is not human friendly in Christ, but a type of fake or false "hope" and emphasizes the wrong things daily, and hurts a lot of people daily.

"live more livable" , well, yes - but deceptive the next year(s). A seeming revival perhaps, and a seeming increase in "good living" (as defined by the world, not by Jesus).

There is a dangerous boom in the economy possible or likely, as the enemy continues to gain humongous more power than already, over individuals and groups. It is devastating when seen and when realized.

Ending own's life (or committing suicide) is equal to murder which is sin.

Suicide is the act of intentionally causing one's own death.

John 10:18 No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of my own accord. I have authority to lay it down, and I have authority to take it up again. This charge I have received from my Father.” This is an act of suicide. Was it a sin? (rhetorical question)

A spy has been captured and will be tortured to get information. He has a suicide pill that he takes in order to save the lives of others. Is he certainly going to hell?

A man has incurable cancer and decides to not extend his life a few more months via chemo therapy. He knows his decision will cause his death. Is he certainly going to hell?

🤔

Praise the Lord; he knows every heart. With that in mind, God knows each person's struggle and mental health issues, and he judges accordingly.
Romans 9:15
For He says to Moses, “I will have mercy on whomever I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whomever I will have compassion.” ;So then it is not of him who wills, nor of him who runs, but of God who shows mercy.
