Bible Study Does Matthew 7:21-23 Teach Works or Losing Salvation?

Some people will use Matthew 7:21-23 to prove that a person must do the will of the Father and if they work any iniquity then they can lose their Salvation. However that's not what the verse is saying, the verse points out that those who are workers of iniquity are those who are relying on their works for Salvation at verse 22. That's why God calls them workers of iniquity, because they rely on their works for Salvation not by the Faith of Jesus Christ. Ephesians 2:8-9 points out that we are saved by Grace through Faith believing on Christ and not by works.

Another reason why the Bible says in Matthew 7:21 that those who do the will of the Father can go to Heaven is very simple, the will of the Father is to believe on Christ for Salvation rather than good works (in this Church Age).

I would hate to be in a group of people who believed this way. It would mean that they can be as evil as they want to you because they think all God desires is that they believed they are saved because they believed they are saved. For them, God doesn’t care at all how they treat other people. Go ahead, lie and steal. As long as you believe “in Jesus” (meaning you believe you are saved) it’s ok.

Good news, if they're saved Believer but really evil as a lost sinner then God will first chastise them and if they keep doing it then He will kill them and they won't have any rewards, but still eternally secured in Heaven just naked though.

God is very gracious with His free gift of Salvation.

Can You Be Wicked and Still Saved? Shocking Answer

I’m thinking about the poor suffering people living under such.

People who don’t feel the slightest pressure to love their neighbor as themselves might feel the freedom of destined for Heaven no matter how badly they treat others, but those others probably prefer those who feel the pressure to love them as they love themselves.
