Hi,
What do u think?
I met this Christian woman for coffee a few months ago. After the 1st coffee, she told me she would like to meet as friends for the time being. We then met again 2 months later (the delay was because we were both away on mission trips) and then again 1 month later. (2 weeks ago) I paid each time and the coffee lasted for about 1hour30mins each time. We've a lot in common and if anything develops, it will be from the solid foundation of friendship
Anyway, So, I asked again if she wanted to meet for coffee this week. But she said she is busy for the rest of November and she suggested a Saturday in early December.
On the plus side: she said November didnt suit, but suggested another day which is confirmed.
On the minus side: if you really like someone, would you not want to spend time with them more than once a month??
Or is she just wanting to take things really slowly - ie. one meeting once a month? Everytime i have asked her for coffee, she has said yes. Just this time, its hurtful in a way to be told she is busy for the rest of Saturdays in November (for the next 4 weeks!) it kinda makes me feel quite small.
I'm a bit confused.
