A few things that I do know about dreams are, many dreams which seem negative may not be negative at all, in fact many are positive dreams. Another thing is that it is said that when you dream of other people...that it's not about the other people at all, but most times the other people in your dreams are you, or a representation of a character aspect of you. And flying dreams are almost always spiritual in that it is representative of the Holy Spirit and flying high in the Spirit or some such (or low).

That may be true. I've read that recurring dreams are (could be) re-runs by God to tell you again, because it's something He wants you to know...and you're not getting it. So recurring dreams should certainly be looked at closely, just in case.
 
I have had a dream and an intimate dream about someone who you barely know that you work with.It is so embarrassing to face that person.But they don't know

That could be true. The recurring one I had was something I was currently dealing with. Once I knew what they were, never had them again.
In the days before PCs and I did bookkeeping by hand in journals, I used to dream about numbers all the time. Drove me a little crazy to wake up with numbers swimming around in my head.

Sexual dreams are almost always misunderstood. Their usually eaither warnings or positive. Intimacy is very symbolical from what I understand and...I never dreamed (pun) that a sexual dream could be a dream message from God, but they can be is what I learned. God is not hung up with idealistic notions and traditions as man is, so just because it's a sexual dream does not automatically establish that the dream is not from God. If one has a sexual dream and seeks interpretation of it, From what I understand, the hair color of the other person in the dream is of utmost importance.

We used to have a good interpreter on this forum, but she got chased away with rudeness. I chat with her sometimes, she is a good sister in the Lord.

Was told such could be dangerous. You are sleeping. In your dream you find yourself sleeping. And they told us you must wake first in that dream before you can wake in reality.

Sounds like nonsense to me
 
I have had very strange dreams. Forinstance, I would be flying in my jet...and suddenly I would be on a rickety bicycle. :hysterical

dreams are stupid at times...and can be signs of sickness 'this and that'.

Yeah, that's nonsense. I've had dreams that were scary though and then in the dream I realized I was dreaming so I made myself wake up to end the dream. :)
 
Has anyone ever been in a kind of trance?

You are sleeping yet you are awake...kinda, and you are struggling to move parts of your body. This is the type of situation some ignorantly label demonic
 
I've had lots of gun dreams. A long time ago, my guns didn't work right in dreams. It would malfunction, or the bullets would ploop out of the barrel and fall to the ground and stuff like that. but over time, my guns began working in dreams, just like in real life. I think this happened because I started reloading my own ammunition and practicing more and so gained more confidence.

That sounds pretty spooky brother. I have heard about some people who have trouble moving their body while asleep or something similar to what you describe. I think there's a name for it. i dunno what it is though.

What makes you so sure that it's not demonic?

Are demons such weaklings that they can only attack one during sleeping? Do they really rule the night?

It is a kind of a sleep disorder.I think it is called sleep paralysis but I am not sure.
 
I once had a dream that I was naked.I noticed I was naked so I wrapped some Saran Wrap around me.

No, not necessarily, but sleep time is a strange time, and we don't understand a lot about sleep and what all goes on when we sleep. They say we rest, and we do of course, but its also so, that a lot of the brain turns on and is very active while we sleep.

Plus, keep in mind that, we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities and powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. (Ephesians 6:12)

So a lot of activity could be spiritual, and for all we know, it may be easier for them to do things to us at night? This said, i wouldn't rule out so fast, that it wasn't demonic activity going on.
