That might sound extremely corny and cheesy for me to say but it's the truth. :) I'm going on live radio next week to tell my testimony about how the Lord has given me a wonderful gift in friendship, and there's a chance now that I might be able to talk to that said online friend at the end of the show directly for the first time ever, :') So, I got this idea for a thread on everybody here sharing their greatest dreams come true.

My greatest dream come true was to truly understand what real love is after God showed me His love for me when I could not love myself. That was back in 1997 when I was 43 years old and contemplating suicide.

God fulfilled my dreams back then placing me in His loving arms and placed me in His ministry. God also gave me what I like to call "my gift from God" in my third husband 21 years ago. My first two were very abusive, mentally and physically that took all my self-esteem away as I built a wall so tall and thick that only God could tear down.

Well I'm really glad that you got yourself out of that situation :)

I've gotten more in life than I dreamed possible!! Because of the time where the films came out on the End Times, and my Dad also teaching about the Coming of the Lord, I believed I wouldn't get a chance to grow up. I didn't "dream" of things. I also just put my belief into myself cause I knew that it wouldn't be popular. I didn't want everyone saying I was wrong about believing it, too. It has also been my greatest Hope!! I believed their messages, and was, "Well, that does it. Not going to be able to go to College, or get married, or have kids......" Well..... guess I WAS wrong!!! Graduated from Grace College with a Major in Psychology, and Minor in Bible. Found my Husband, had two children, and now they're "grown"!! They both made it past 18!?!? God has blessed me EXCEEDINGLY!!

A dream come true?
There are so many, lol.

My husband use to work in construction, sheet metal mechanic, so getting laid off, sometimes, when the job was done was the norm.
Hard to make mortgage payments, like that.
We had some money saved, bought us some land, and built our own home.
Started off with a 24 by 24 house, just to get in it, then added on down the line..
I give God all the praise and glory for guiding us and giving us the knowledge.
No house payments!

Another,
Raised 2 kids that didn't get involved in drugs!
That is a miracle now days, praise the Lord!

Another,
Have a grand daughter and grand son!

Another,
Someone loved me so much, He laid down His life for me!

Praise the Lord for that last one! :amen(Not like the other things that you mentioned weren't blessings as well of course. :))

My biggest dream to come true came true a couple of years ago.

I have always had a wish of visiting Israel. But I firmly believed that it wouldn't happen.

Finances and spending so much money on a "frivolous" trip...

I almost cried when my wife explained how we could afford to go...I had to have her repeat it several times as well as explain it often before we went.

Then when we got there and checked into our first B&B and I looked at the Temple Mount at the Dome of the Rock...I did.

So I guess if you almost cried when your biggest dream came true, then there won't be any shame if I actually wind up doing it after my best friend hears me speak for the first time and maybe even wind up talking to me herself. :) I don't want to cry on air, but guys don't be surprised if I do. :') She isn't just my best friend anymore she is the sister that I always wanted.

You are a girl...it's kinda expected behavior.

I'm a crusty, old, grumpy construction guy.

Big difference.

My dream had lasted since I was a wee tyke.

First of all what kind of sexist remark is that!? :hips smacks you upside the head (Does this have to become a daily thing with you!? :lol Pretty soon you're going to start calling yourself John Duh Baptist if I wind up smacking you too many times. XD!) Second of all, I know it is said that the real tough men don't show their emotions but I beg to differ with that. I think that it takes more courage to let your emotions show than bottling them up inside of you because it only just shows that you're human. :)
