Drunkness, what's the line?

As I've read that drunkness are not much acceptable so where's the line? If you enjoy drinking two to get a comfortable feeling is that allowed in Christianity? Didn't Jesus say that enjoy your wine (can't remember the verse) Where does the line go?

The line is not the drink itself, but what the excess of the drink can cause the mouth to speak which becomes sin in us. Mark 7:15-13, it's not that which goes into the mouth but what comes out of the mouth that defiles the body.

Yes, you are right and the verse of Scripture you mentioned is apt. The Biblical histories of what happened with Noah, Lot and Ephraim are also lessons at the dangers.

If you are drinking to get high, then you are drinking too much.
