I have always seen Christianity and Socialism similar in their charity to the poor. The Capitalist, Republican, only the tuff survive, don't force me to be charitable, don't regulate me attitude is nothing of Christ.

Was Jesus a democrat? He certainly did not embrace conservative values held by the Rabbi of his day, he shows loved and compassion for everyone regardless of race or lifestyle.


Im just sayin I find it odd so many Christians default to Republican over one issue out of a myriad of other political issues. Abortion. No one on the south is a Republican for deregulating business, its all about Abortions and keeping the Gay away.

Lol. Well, if everyone in the country was part of the "church" (i.e. born again), I might feel the same way. At the most I think Christians should remind leaders and the people of what Jesus said about these things. As far as legislating it, I wouldn't go quite that far, lol. ;) ;) ;)
