well, if Rick's numbers are correct:

Rick said:
The national debt stands at 11 trillion.

Every man, woman and child documented by the Census would owe $36,000. a family of 4 would need to pay off $144,000.

I'm going to tread lightly here, don't want to miss any zero's :D

But isn't the National Debt what our government owes that we as tax payers have to pay for above and beyond our own personal debt such as our car payments and mortgages?

I know that I'm a bit scattered, but perhaps this does reinforce my point. What did we as citizens of the United States of America allow our elected officials to spend our money on? Imagine what 11 trillion dollars could have done to better the lives of many around the globe?

I found this neat site. Play with it a bit and see what each state could do with the money were sending to Washington to fund various projects and wars.
http://www.nationalpriorities.org/trade ... +Trade+Off

Seems like were wasting our talents and the more we accumulate (were the wealthiest country in the world), the more we have to spend to "Protect" what we feel "Entitled" to.

Just like Solomon, he took the wealth that God gave him, and used it for the military to defend his little city.

Jeff,
You're right. 305 million would own 305 million if each owed 1 million. sorry :oops

But not everybody owes that much anyway.

11,000,000,000,000/305,000,000 = roughly 36,000

So to pay off all debt including that of the government everyone would have to come up with 36 grand.

The mystery of Christ. The mystery of godliness and iniquity. The mystery of God.

When the mystery of iniquity is taken away then the man of sin will appear. Then the brightness of Jesus' coming/appearing with destroy the man of sin.

First through the faith of the operation of God; then by sight (for the family).
