i would like all of your thoughts on these passages. why do u think I have chosen these particular verses? My personal belief is that the Rapture is very close. certain events in the Bible are coming true. what are your opinions?

1. What do you mean by "rapture"? you mean a secret one? or something else? Please explain.

2. My opinion is that those verses do not teach legalism at all, and they teach nothing about Jesus' return being soon.

3. What events are coming true? List them please.

I try not to offer opinions. I present the Bible. If you are open to what it has to say, I'll be glad to share it with you, however, if you've already built dogma out of your personal belief, then I have nothing else to offer.

I think you are correct. I've been watching the signs in the heavens as well as scripture (Genesis 1:14). I see the nations of the "King of the South" forming as prophesied in Daniel and I expect to see the ten nations of the "King of the North" form soon.

I am excited about the upcoming lunar tetrad in 2014-2015. While I don't think that the "end of the world" or "Christ's Second Coming" will necessarily happen then, I do believe it precedes these events. I think it has something to do with Israel. The last two occurred when they became a nation again, and later recaptured Jerusalem. I think the next terad will have something to do with rebuilding the temple, but we'll have to wait and see.

I don't usually play word games with people I have just met, but I suspect you quoted them to start an argument. (Based on the fact that this is your first post, and that you made no introductory post or any attempt to be part of the community here.)

To God a day is as a thousand years and a thousand years is as a day, so those verses don't necessarily mean that Jesus is coming soon. The disciples thought He was coming soon as well. No one knows the time or the hour, but it could come at at any time.

Why quote passages in which He says He is coming soon and then ask about the rapture? Are we supposed to pretend pre-millennilists do not define these events seperately?

Hi Spike, don't worry about most here on this site. They would not understand Matt. 24 if they saw Christ was coming in the clouds!;) Just a kind of satire? (mabe one would?)

But with this generation mentioned by Christ, He surely meant the one living when these things were to come to pass! Even note Matt. 10:23 when Christ was already there at the time speaking of the End time to be repeated! Eccl. 1:9-10 + Eccl. 3:15
