When I look at the BTC, I think that must be what the eternal life will be like. All tribes and nations and tongues represented in giving eternal praise and glory to our loving God and Father and His Son, Jesus. The 'church'.

God bless,
Ted

Psa 150:1 Praise ye the LORD. Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power.
Psa 150:2 Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness.
Psa 150:3 Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with the psaltery and harp.
Psa 150:4 Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs.
Psa 150:5 Praise him upon the loud cymbals: praise him upon the high sounding cymbals.
Psa 150:6 Let every thing that hath breath praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD.

Today, this very day, we sang I speak Jesus as both a choir and congregational praise song. That's another great praise song from this artist. Praise God. Even in these last days He still raises up among us many whose talents bring such great praise and adoration to Jesus. Artists who, in speaking such words of praise, draw our spirit to be with His Spirit in praise and adoration for who He is and all that He has done for us to know who he is and all that he has done for us.

God bless,
Ted

May we, His children, praise His Holy Name forever and ever and evermore. When, after 10,000 years we have sung His praise, may we sing them for the next 10,000 years. Oh, bless the Lord...my soul. Praise His name forever and ever and evermore.

God bless,
Ted

One thing about praise songs sung unto the Lord are the words of God put into melodies of praise and worship.

Praise music has always been one of my passions in worshipping the Lord. I'm 67 and I prefer the newer praise work than most of the older work. However, one of the men in my small group on Sunday refers to most of the new music as 7/11 music. You say the same seven words over eleven times.

I always wonder, when I hear him make that comment how happy he's going to be with the Lord in the eternal life? I mean, let's face it, according to the Scriptures there are angels of the Lord surrounding His throne both day and night crying continually, "Holy,Holy, Holy is the Lord God Almighty." Seems to me that would get old pretty quick for someone who isn't sold on repeated phraseology worship.

I really, really do like some of this praise music put out by this worshipper Charity Gayle, but a lot of it is just repeated phrases as shouts of praise to the Lord. May God continue to empower her and her group with the power of His Holy Spirit to sing praises to Him in a way that moves our spirit to worship His Spirit. After all, no matter who is doing the praising...it's all about Him!!!

God bless,
Ted
