Enmity between thy seed and Her Seed

Hi ~

I found it! Eureka!

"Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God. Luke 8:11

Of course this would be an eight... (private thought)
Also, Jesus is the word of God...

He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God. Revlation 19:13

And again... 1 Peter 1:23 says that "we have been born again, not of corruptible seed but incorruptible, through the word of God which lives and abides forever.

Good morning Bonnie,

The seed is the Word of God. A seed we are to plant in His field. But, that isn't the only use of seed.

Matthew 13:38-39 The field is the world: the good seed are the children of the kingdom: but the tares are the children of the wicked one; The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels.

  • Seed #4690 ~ sperma, male sperm, offspring

Also consider...."In Isaac shall thy seed be called."

Editing in....I just noticed this has pretty much been covered in posts on the second page...the page I didn't see. :crazy

The "seed" in the Hebrew is called "zirmah"
Zirmah is not used in Genesis 3. zera`is used in Genesis 3.

Sperma is used for the children of God. Satan is seen as casting seed of wicked children, much like a farmer does.

Sure. That's what it means. :rolling

Jesus first told the multitudes the parable of the sower. That was seed, as a farmer uses which is symbolic of people. There the farmer sowed good seed (children of God) in his field (the world) but while he slept an enemy (Satan) sowed "tares among the wheat," (children of the enemy among children of God). The servants (us) were instructed to leave them alone. When it was harvest time the angels would gather the tares (Satan's children) and burn them.

But, as simple as that parable was He still had to explain it to His disciples and NOT in parable form. So....

He tells us that the "good seed," and there seed is literal human seed....sperma, real live folks, are children of the kingdom. He continues and tells them/us that the tares are the children of the wicked one...the devil.

Now if you wish to see the children of Satan as spiritual only...okay. But consider that He began that teaching...to His disciples, not to the multitudes, meaning WE ARE SUPPOSED TO UNDERSTAND, we are to have eyes and ears on this subject....with these words:

  • Matthew 13:34-35 All these things spake Jesus unto the multitude in parables; and without a parable spake He not unto them: That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying, "I will open my mouth in parables; I will utter things which have been kept secret from the foundation of the world."

This has been a secret from the beginning. Would that secret be that Satan is in the world causing idolatry? Of course not. Everyone understands that. The secret is who the tares are, who they really are and they are....CHILDREN OF the wicked one.

So what or who determines who is of the offspring of the serpent ?

Matthew 13:39-40 The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels. As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world.

But, realize that salvation is open to them too....

Genesis 4:6-7 And the LORD said unto Cain, "Why art thou wroth? and why is thy countenance fallen? If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him."

Matthew 13:39-40 The enemy that sowed them is the devil;

How did He sow them ? and How is that different from the ones the Son of man sowed per Matt 13:

37He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man;

So The devil sowed some and the Son of Man sowed some.. :yes

If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted

The word well here is the hebrew word yatab:

to be good, be pleasing, be well, be glad

God told him if he does well[Good] he would be accepted, but what God did not tell him was this:

ps 14:

The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.

And also, God had already before the world began accepted his people by grace in Jesus christ per eph 1:

To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.

The Adamic line, through Adam and Eve, led to the Son of God. They are "the good seed" "and "the children of the kingdom." The line of tares are from Satan and Eve who produced Cain. They are the children of the wicked one.

He did chose His elect before the world began. They are not all that will be welcomed into the kingdom. If the tare, or if the man...any man, said in his heart there is no God then they are corrupt but if the tare or any man loved God then they are accepted and loved.
