Ephesians 1:21-23 KJV
21 Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:
22 And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church,
23 Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.
I think it might be interesting to note here, in verse 4 we see the Greek word translated world is kosmos = the world, the universe
But here in verse 21 we see the Greek word translated world is aion = period of time, age
Thayer's Lexicon, says the age in verse 21, is referring to "this age" and then the one to come "the age after the return of Christ...the divine kingdom.
I notice that He has put all things under His feet, there is no power in this age, right now, the is any greater than His.
In this verse I notice that He mentions that His body (the Church) is the fullness of Him. This reminds me of when Paul talks about the conversion of the Jews and how they will bring in that fullness (that is what I think he means by the riches as well). The Church cannot be spiritually complete without them.
