I have a question for any of you end timers? Esau was red and hairy, I wonder If that means he was a red head, if so does that tell us who or where his descendants ended up? It may be in the scriptures, but I have not searched it out as some others may have? Also his blessing from Issac said that he would be "blessed in his dwelling", I thought of the rich oil supplies and such in different countries? If any one has a thought of some info I would be glad to hear it!:-) God Bless- Mitspa

Maybe other people can be hairy, without necessarily being connected with Esau?

According to one book I have, Esau's descendents (Edom) ended up in modern day Turkey. Some think Russia, but that's the same basic area. But it's like tracing the lost tribes of Israel as well. Many of the biblical people and nations ended up in Europe and other parts of the world, and to understand prophecy better, one has to be cognizant of the fact that Assyrians may not all be in the land of Assyria any longer, but perhaps Germany. And Israel is NW Europe and the United States, etc etc due to past captivities and migrations, you get the idea. In the end times, the geographical regions seem to play a role in things again so I assume that these people will gravitate to their original land again, just as a small number of tribes of Israel (the Jews) returned to the land of Israel.

Sounds like good honest info! thanks:-)

At least I know where to come to if I have any "hair" issues!:toofunny

By the way I am not the one who made the statement about Esau, I have learned that every detail in the scriptures has a reason for being there.:chin

There are rumors of an enclave in the high deserts of northern California.
