Foreshadowing Armageddon?

Islam, Communism, New Age ideology, Humanism, the Occult--all of it hates Jesus and his followers.
It’s not the world that concerns me most—it’s those who claim to be Christian. In Matthew 7:23, Jesus says, “Then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you workers of lawlessness.’” This is part of a powerful warning: not everyone who says they follow Him will enter the kingdom of heaven. Only those who do the will of the Father will be welcomed.

Even people who prophesy, perform miracles, or cast out demons in His name may be turned away if their hearts and lives aren’t aligned with God’s will. Just one verse earlier, in Matthew 7:22, Jesus says, “Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord...’”—a sobering reminder that a large number may profess faith, but not all are truly known by Him.

Well yea--out of about 8 billion people on the planet, about 2.5 billion of them are considered "Christian." How many of these nominal Christians do you think have been "Born Again?" They may use the biblical terminology indicating this, but those who exeprience it spiritually and practice it morally are clearly in the minority!

We may be concerned about those who imitate Christianity and claim they adhere to the Creeds. They may obviously lack credibility and spiritual substance in their lives. But there is little we can do except witness to them as we would to non-Christians or pagans. People have been given the right to make their own choices, to believe what they want to believe.

Our concern is to reach those interested in true conversion, and in helping them to grow into mature Christians. We are to "shake the dust off our shoes" and go to the next town if in the town we're at we are rejected in preaching the true Gospel of repentance and conversion. This is what we are called to, whether we are called to ministry or not.
