Ironically, the major opponent of the Big Bang, (which was discovered by a Catholic priest) was an atheist, Fred Hoyle, who believed in eternal matter.

Since we see evolution happening all around us, there's really no point in denying it. You might as well deny gravity.

If you worldview doesn't admit evolution, then you are at odds with God's creation.
