is this a pro eternal security thread?

Greetings tonight Jason in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ -

No this is a Bible study lesson for those who question their eternal security and may have questions and or seeking verses from the Bible to help them understand their place in the Lord.

Good question

hmm ok then i take that as a yes, but i dont believe that we can earn our salvation nor keep it but we can walk away.

thus im not an osaser. but if you are going to teach them that at least teach them that grace isnt an excuse to sin and those that do believe in that dont teach that either. for in order to understand the law one realises that one cant be perfect and will repent and by doing so be moved in love to do the commands given by christ and will freely do them more often.

Jason -

Very good point - I would teach them that (in the Word of God) of course if the evolution of this thread takes that traveled path, but my intentions are not to teach on something where it was not meant to go.

These are inspirational quotes but never take for granted there is eternal security...Ernest T. Bass has a good thread on the false security of eternal security. There are not guarantees to eternal security as we can fall from grace at any time.

BornAgain -

Thank you for your reply I hope you have a blessed Friday.

I quickly realize here that it can be difficult to post Scripture reffering to a general help topic (Lord forbid if I quote Scripture about depression). I believe there so many views and debates here that when someone post Scripture in general, that person must be posting about some view that probably has been debated here time and time again.. If you ever read any of my post you will notice I hardly ever post my beliefs here. My walk with Christ is solid and therefore I post in general to help other Christians in their walk with God. Unless you have seen anything different please point it out so I may confess it to my Father. My heart of being here is not to debate, quarel or state whos beliefs are right or wrong. If anything I'm a voice of reason.

If you would share the link to that thread I would be interested in reading it..

God bless you this day

Yea! here is how we fall from grace!

Gal 5:4

Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.

By trying to earn salvation by works!
The "Just" (righteous) shall live by faith!:readbible

From
equitable (in character or act); by implication innocent, holy (absolutely or relatively): - just, meet, right (-eous).

Without faith it is impossible to please God!

Who said I didn't have faith? You can have all of the faith in the world and still be a sinner and fall from grace....

Read the Scripture! The law is not of faith! Only by turning to LAW can one fall from grace!

Greetings to you all -

My heart is grieved at the replies on this thread. As Christians it is our job to edify the body of Christ, to help those in need both in the flesh and in the spirit. Many times a believer will question their faith and salvation, and yet it seems more important to debate one's view and their theogical position:bigfrown

It appears that many if not all have misinterpreted the meaning of my thread. I will ask one of the mods to please delete this thread.

I pray the Lord blesses each of you today..

Jesus loves each of you dearly and wants you all to know through His Word we can find truth and forgiveness. If any question their faith or walk with Christ, I would love to talk with you. Please contact me via PM

Tis a shame I am locking this thread at the request of the OP.

It is truly a shame we can not abide by rules meant to allow for scriptural encouragement of others. Chapter and verse have been posted folks can look them up and read them in context.

Isa 55:11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

With so many forums and threads open to debate learn to respect the Bible Study forum as it is laid out.

The Bible Study forum is not for egos or debate. reba
