What is an Eunuch?
In Mathew 19:5 Jesus said ""And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh"
A marriage is between a man and a women. Jesus said any man that puts away his wife save for the cause of fornication has committed adultery. And whosoever marries her commits adultery. Mathew 19:9
But Jesus said its not for everyone to marry. He listed these as Eunuchs.
According to Jesus there are three types of Eunuchs (mathew 19:12)
1.Those born eunuch from the womb
2.those made eunuch by men
3.those who make themselves eunuch for the sake of the faith
What then is an Eunuch exactly?
Websters dictionary -

: a castrated man placed in charge of a harem or employed as a chamberlain in a palace

: a man or boy deprived of the testes or external genitals

: one that lacks virility or power <political eunuchs>
I believe that Paul was a type 3 eunuch, a celibate man. A celibate woman (nun) would also be a type 3 eunuch.
1 Corinthians 7:7-9
""7 For I would that all men were even as I myself. But every man hath his proper gift of God, one after this manner, and another after that.8 I say therefore to the unmarried and widows, it is good for them if they abide even as I.9 But if they cannot contain, let them marry: for it is better to marry than to burn""
Paul said it was better to be as himself. Unmarried, but if one can't do that, then marry, because being married is better than to burn, go to hell. Almost like saying being married will keep one out of trouble (sin)
What then of type 1 Eunuch's? An autistic or schizophrenic would be a type 1 Eunuch. Because they were born that way from the womb. Their physical temples are defective from the womb. They do not desire the things that others desire. Nor do they learn the same as the majority. They are mentally disabled and require parental supervision. They have genuine cognitive impairments. A schizophrenic only accounts for .5 to 1 percent of the entire population.
The old testament portrays Eunuchs as those that take care of a harem of women, therefore a man without sexual desire and lust would be desired to be around such large quantities of women.
Scripture does not say that Paul castrated himself in order to be celibate. Following Jesus is a voluntarily humility, not a law. This can be compared to many countries that practice FGM on females in order to force them into non promiscuous activity by removing their sexual desire by FGM. But Jesus explained how you can do the same thing by simply practicing thought control. Don't look on women with lust. Don't think harmful thoughts of your brother.
What then of a type 2 Eunuch? This would be a post op transexual, castrated by men, and forced to take female hormones for life.
The difference is, the post op transexual was given a choice, they were not born that way. They chose to make themselves (or should I say try) to make themselves into the other sex. This is going against the choice God made for them. The schizophrenic comes out of the womb different. Perceives life and reality different.
A transexual is an effeminate man. What does the bible say about the effeminate? 1 corinthians 6:9 "Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,"
I don't see this so much as a command but as a truth. There are many out there that use this verse in a very condemning old testament militant way. The truth is that Satan will not enter in the gates of heaven. Effeminate is satanic energy and perversion. Homosexuals, Lesbians, Transexuals, have their ideals perverted by the devil. Any spirit filled, born again christian, will not have this same perversion in them. Thus they will have a non perverted heart.
There are many such as Westboro that use the old testament to condemn homosexuals, lesbians, and transexuals. (Leviticus 20:19, Deuteronomy 22:5,)
But can a homosexual, lesbian, or transexual, be saved by Jesus Christ?
One can do a simple youtube search and find many testimonials of homosexuals, lesbians, and transexuals who were saved by Jesus, and they turned from their ways. Jesus gave them a new heart. A non perverted heart. The holy spirit tells you these three things are wrong. But one without the spirit, is still thinking and judging carnally. They do not see that they are doing anything wrong. There are many that call themselves christians that are homosexual, and show no interest in turning from their lifestyle. Are they really saved?
But one must be very careful here...
There are many out there attacked by groups like westboro, who use "eunuch" like a trump card and as a means to vindicate their sexually immoral lifestyle.
Are they really born Eunuchs? And are they really saved?
The percentage of those truly born different are much smaller than people imagine. A schizophrenic has a hard enough time just floating through life, not a stable school or work history. This is unlike the homosexuals, lesbians, and transexuals, who live fairly productive lives, and often form up into groups of support. The schizophrenic does not care what others think, they are into their own world, battling their own private hell day in and day out. If they truly cared about the things of others, they would be out in the world working seeking everything everyone else does. Thus they would not be in such a low minority.
My final question(s) or thoughts on an Eunuch is this, if a 10 year old mentally retarded child steps outside one morning and is hit by a truck, and killed. Where does he go? Purgatory? Thats not in the bible is it? He can't go to heaven can he because he never knew Christ? Is he then judged based upon his works or situation? Will a mentally retarded child be sent to the lake of fire?
