It’s happened a good bit in Belgium and in the Netherlands.

Historical side note: psychiatric patients don’t matter in modern society and sometimes the contempt turns into hatred. Psychiatric labels were grounds for sterilization in much of the USA ?? during the eugenics era. Feeble minded schizophrenia etc…

And in nazi Germany psychiatric hospitals were used to test what would later be unleashed on the Jewish population. Eek ?

Cruelty is becoming more prevalent and acceptable once again. What adds an additional layer of evil to the problem is the lies used to cover it up and make everything seem progressive and inclusive and humane even therapeutic.

M.A.I.D. is entirely demonic. It's interesting, though, how it has gained acceptance (by some, anyway) by claiming to be compassionate. This is very much in line with other claims of "compassion" from Woke Leftists who say that this is what they're being when they "affirm" the "transitioning"of "transgendered" children by surgical disfiguring them, permanently chemically sterilizing them and profoundly arresting their normal physiological development. Such "compassion" also champions the cause of the "oppressed" group - even if they're a bunch of misogynistic Islamic terrorists, gang raping young girls by the tens of thousands, as has happened in the UK over the last forty years or so. This is what goes on when people make themselves the Final Arbiter of what is a moral virtue and what isn't rather than God.

There is a dreadful interview Dr. Jordan Petersen did with a lady who has done a great deal of research into M.A.I.D. and has discovered horrific details of how, exactly, a person in Canada dies under the regime of lethal drugs that they're given. They are actually administered a powerful paralytic that gives loved ones the impression that the M.A.I.D. victim is dying peacefully when, in truth, they're slowing suffocating to death over the course of several hours. Without the paralytic, the person enduring the "compassion" of M.A.I.D. would be acting as anyone who is suffocating to death would do, heaving for breath and thrashing about in panic. No one, though, has any idea of the nightmarish horror that the paralyzed person is in as they expire. As I said, M.A.I.D. is straight-up demonic.

No animal simply just dies without a fight for life naturally and certainly not a person who even while sick .

The body will as made try to stay alive . No death is painless. Even execution for a crime of murder has that . And that is biblical .

My dad being epileptic said he felt every thing and heard and saw it while unable to stop his attacks before passing out and still could listen .

He would remember details .there are seizure meds that are usable to end a life .

A person like that can slowly feel death and it's not painless

I think I’d probably be described as left wing ?. Yay for social programs workers rights universal healthcare etc. and yet…

Not really big on this destructive death march that much of modern society is going on full force. And…

Some relatively high percentage of deaths end with some sort of medical intervention in the Netherlands. Official numbers are at 4-5 percent for medical euthanasia.

I dunno ?‍ it seems like a less expensive way to deal with sick and or older people. Expanding the legal criteria to include psychiatric conditions is also a rather cruel way to deal with poverty and inequality.
