THE QUESTION
May I ask you a question If Yes, proceed
Are you absolutely, positively, certain sure, no doubt in your mind, that if you died this moment, you would go to heaven? (silence – we are waiting for the conviction of the Holy Spirit – don’t encourage3 conversation until they respond)
Here is what the scriptures say 3 different times in the Bible. “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.†(brief pause)
Do you want to call on the name of the Lord? (if no, drop them..if yes) I’m going to tell you in a few words how to call on the name of the Lord. Then I’ll prove to you how you are saved.
Pray after me: Lord Jesus, thank you for coming into my life. Forgive me of my sins. Save my soul. I accept you now.
Do you have any different feeling now that you have prayed? If yes…That is the Holy Spirit stirring your body.
Now let’s go back to what the Bible said. “Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.â€Â
Now we are certain you called on the name of the Lord. I heard you; you heard yourself, and God heard you. Under these conditions, only 2 things can exist.
1`) You are saved now and forever, or 2) God is a liar.
Which do you think is correct? (pause and remain silent)
This question has brought wonderful results for over 25 years.

less than 5% of the people will say, I do not feel any different and then your next question should be, have you ever prayed a similar prayer before ? Many will say yes, so of course they are not going to have this feeling down in their gut because in fact they are already saved. This physical sensation after praying to the Lord only come once in a man's life. (Remember John 6:37 says, "any man that comes to me I will in no wise cast out.") The few that do not have a feeling and have not said that type prayer before are refusing to accept the conviction of the Holy Spirit. Now of course all this is just from my own experience. So it could easily be different for someone else. Although it has worked this way for all soul winners I have ever worked with. This may be totaled 20.
