In keeping with the theory of evolution, let's indulge in fantasy and see what superior species humans are supposed to evolve into. After all, evolutionary scientists claim that evolution is ongoing. So when are our descendants going to turn into; aureopithecalopeti? Or maybe they'll turn into homosupererectus? Will they be our great grandchildren? or perhaps our great, great, great grandchildren? So when are we going to evolve so drastically that we'll be given the name of a new species like the fictitious beasts called "transitional" species supposedly did? :o Scientists must have some idea since they're audacious enough to claim that evolution is ongoing. So what proof do they have that humans are turning into a another new species and how will that species be superior to humans? Thank you. :-)

I believe you posted a thread exactly like this a few months ago, to which I responded something like this:
Evolution is an unguided process, we don't know.
However, it's likely that cranial capacity will increase and we'll become taller.

Maybe we'll see in a couple of million years.

we have to get bigger brians to grasp the concept of a adult fantasy ofthe ToE, and get will get taller because we need to reach things on high shelves, stools and ladders are not good enough, we need an unguided process to fix a problem that does not need fixing.

No, actually it's been longer than that since I've been here.

So you're claiming there won't be any short people around in future years. Is that correct? If so, then what are they going to call this new species? :o

Sorry, friend, but scientists always claim that people will get taller. But the reality is that tall and short people always co-exist with each other and always will.

Scientists are now also saying that that global warming is a myth and that in fact, the world is getting cooler. They forget that the myth came from scientists themselves. Back in the 70's they actually said that we were headed for another ICe Age. All scientists do is look out the window. And if it's a hot summer, they make projections about the future based on today. But then if we get cold summers, they project what happens today into the future as well. Any child can do that. So it appears that scientists are as much in the dark about what' true as the people they dupe are.

Heidi, please do not bear false witness by presenting these cartoonized and clearly incorrect characterizations of the scientific method. This is not how the scientific method works and I can only hope that you do not know better. If you do know better, you are engaging in misrepresentation.

Review all her previous posts and you will see this is a mere troll. To be honest I highly suspect this person's motives of making fun of the kind of person she is imitating. I highly doubt anyone that has the capacity to turn on their cpu and monitor would be capable of such misrepresentation.

Yeah, I vote ignore her and/or joke all of her posts just to show the newcomers that we know she's full of it.

Oh really? If I'm misrepresenting the theory of evolution, then I take it evolution is not ongoing. Is that correct? Which is it? or is the theory so imaginary that no one really knows what it says? So I suggest you answer these questions or the only one who is misrepresenting anyone is you.

  It's even scarier imagining what kind of creature scientists have in mind for humans. :o

Evolution is ongoing. We don't know how the environment will be a long time from now nor how people will generally decide their mate.

So if you don't know what will happen in the future, then how do you know that evolution is ongoing? :o But since humans are killing each other out of existence, it doesn't appear that we're better than anyone in the past since we're bringing about our own demise faster than in any other generation.

Thats comforting, i am going to afghan in about 6 months, lol

Then your demise might be faster than the rest of ours. Just kidding. Are you going as a missionary?

Because you can predict the future by looking at the past. If evolution has been continuous since the origin of life until the present, why should it stop? Animals adapting to their environment isn't something that just abruptly halts.

But since humans are killing each other out of existence, it doesn't appear that we're better than anyone in the past since we're bringing about our own demise faster than in any other generation.
For christ's sake! I covered this in a different thread. Sure, we might be closer to mutual destruction than ever before, but this is totally irrelevant to whether evolution happens or not. It's quite clear that collectively we're more advanced than ever before!

You know, Dunzo, I have yet to hear a logical non-contradictory response from you. Your first comment is like saying' "if donkeys have been flying since the beginning of time, why should they stop?" :o That is not proof that donkeys can fly any more than it's proof that they haven't stopped flying! So it's not a rational response to my post.

And demonstrating that man is stupid enough to escalate his own death is one of the biggest relevancies to the theory of evolution since evolution is based on offspring becoming more superior as time goes on. So your second comment isn't any more rational than your first one. But all that shows is how irrational one has to be to defend the theory of evolution.

No, it's like saying "If the sun rose yesterday and every single day previous to that, will it rise tomorrow?".

And demonstrating that man is stupid enough to escalate his own death is one of the biggest relevancies to the theory of evolution since evolution is based on offspring becoming more superior as time goes on.
Once again you demonstrate your misunderstanding of evolution through misrepresentation. Let me repeat this once more: Evolution is UNGUIDED!. Offspring do not always have to become "superior".

To my knowledge, at least.

Since you haven't explained why my explanation is misguided, then your comment is just more slander. So either you can't explain your theory, or you know that my explanation of it is right on. So once again, your comment admits defeat unless you can explain it. ;-)

We have explained, and you've ignored it. No more.

Sorry but since you haven't explained why humans don't breed zebras, then all you've demonstrated is a complete lack of understanding of reproduction and biology. So once again, your comment is false. So try again...this time you can start with even one true statement. ;-)
